Moon couldn't help but think what would've happened if the police didn't save her. But before she could get too far in her train of thought, they got to the police station. "We're here miss. You need a hand getting out?" The officer said while holding the car door open. "Oh- Oh no I was just spacing out. Sorry" Moon apologized. She got out of the car and closed the door behind her. She walked with the officer into the police station. "Moonie! You're okay!" Her mom yelled in excitement as she ran up to Moon for a hug. "Mom!" They hugged in a warm embrace as her mom started to cry. They held each other in silence for a few moments until she let go. As Moon looked up she could she Hau, Lillie, and Gladion in the room as well. "I'm so glad you're safe!" Lillie said. "Me too! We were all really worried!" Hau added. Gladion stepped forward to Moon while her mother moved out of the way. "Did... Did they hurt you?" He said while grabbing her hands. She could see that he was trying to hide his face. More than usual anyways. Had he been crying? "N-no. I'm fine." She answered. "Good" he said as he let go of her arms. "How did the police find me? How did they know where to look?" Moon asked. She had been wondering this since the police knocked on the door. "Oh... Well..." Her mother stammered. Gladion turned his head and shook it as if to say 'I got this'. "Moon. Your kidnappers... They called me with your phone asking for money... s-so they wouldn't... hurt you. So they would send you home." Gladion started. He stepped closer and looked directly in her eyes. "You know that I would do anything for you, but I didn't want those people to win." Gladion said just quiet enough for the others not to hear. "You had already been missing for a while, so the police were already told. When I told them that I was called, they tracked your phone, so they knew exactly where you were." He finished back at full volume. A tear ran down her face. "Thank you" she said. She meant it to everyone, but said it looking straight at Gladion.
