Moon was frozen. Her head raced with thoughts so fast she couldn't even decipher them. Her emotions kicked in and tears started forming in her eyes. She tried to bring herself back to reality. The tears started to roll down her face and she ran away. She wanted to get away from them as fast as she could. It wasn't that she was embarrassed, it was that she knew that Gladion wasn't ready. But of course that wasn't all. She wasn't ready. Then, a hand grabbed hers. She turned to see Gladion starring back at her. "Take a breath" he said. She took a deep breath and slumped down to sit on the floor. Gladion followed suit. She started to sob again. "Shh... It's okay." Gladion said while embracing Moon. "I... It's just..." Moon tried to explain but Gladion put a finger on her lips and quieted her down. "I know. It was wrong of her to bring it up. I don't want to tell them yet either." he said while comforting her. She sniffed and said "Thanks for following me." He wiped the tears off her face. "It's okay" he said. It reminded her of the day of the power outage, the day they confessed their love for each other. It made her feel secure, like the rest of the world didn't matter. She closed her eyes and leaned in. He closed the gap between her lips and her own. Their lips touched and in that moment, she didn't care that the others could walk into the room right then. She loved him.
