Mouth agape and eyes wide Gladion said "y-you... Thank you." Tears started rolling down his eyes. Moon pulled him into a tight hug. After a long embrace, she let go. Running over the conversation they just had in her mind, Moon noticed something. Something she had read about a lot. Something she suspected Gladion had done for a while now, but didn't have the proof to check. Moon leaned in again and layed her hand on Gladion's wrist. He winced but didn't move away this time. He tried to hide his pain, in more ways than one. "Gladion... I'd like to see your arm." Moon said grimly. All color had drained from Gladion's already pale face. "Wh-what?! Why?!" he responded. Before he got the chance to pull away, Moon rolled up his left sleeve. She could see many many cuts, some still fresh. Gladion froze. Moon didn't want to do this, but she had to. As she saw the wounds, she saw all of his past again, but much darker. She saw all the struggles and times when he had no one in this world. She saw a person no one but criminals accepted. She saw a damaged boy trying to feel some kind of release, but only causing ugly scars that would never fully heal. As she opened her mouth to say something, Gladion said simply "I'm sorry."
