"YOU TOLD HAU ABOUT US?!"
I had just explained to Gladion that I had told my mom and Hau that were dating now. He was indifferent to my mom, but I couldn't have expected his reaction to Hau.
"Come on! I know you don't really like him, but he's one of my best friends!" I pleaded. Gladion looked down.
"I'm sorry for yelling. It's not like I don't like Hau he's just..." he looked back at me. "...irresponsible."
"C'mon! I.. I wanna tell people about us!" He looked me in the eyes, but I couldn't read what he was feeling...
"I'm sorry... I just..." I interrupt him by placing my hand on his.
"It's okay. If you arent ready, I won't tell anyone else." He smiled.
"Thanks..."
After that, we talked for a good while, when I remembered about the festival. I still wanna go with him, but seeing his reaction to telling people about us, I don't think he'd wanna go together.
"Something's on your mind."
"Huh? How'd you-"
"I know you too well by now. What're you thinking so much about?"
"Well... y'know how there's a festival soon?"
"A little." he shrugged
"Well, it's a kinda... romance thing..." I blushed a little. God, this is so typical.
"Oh. I see why you weren't talking about it, since I don't want people to know about us." Right as always.
"It's happening in two weeks."
"Well, I don't know how I'll feel then, but don't count on us going."
Wait... was that a maybe instead of a no?
"I guess we'll see!" I smile widely at Gladion.
"Heh... yeah, I guess we will."
