The next morning Moon woke up in Gladion's arms. She was happy. Gladion yawned loudly and streched as he woke up seconds later. Moon giggled, because she knew a yawn that loud would have woken her up anyways if she wasn't already awake. This made Gladion blush.
Later that day Gladion and Moon decided to have a 3v3 Battle for fun. "Go Absol!" She yelled as she hurled a Luxury Ball towards the field. "Lucario! Come out now!" Gladion yelled as he threw his pokeball to the field. That was a good choice, because Dark is weak to Fighting. As they were both on the battle ground, Gladion commanded "Lucario! Use Brick Break!" "Quick! Use Sucker Punch" Moon directed in response. Before Lucario had a chance to attack, he was already knocked out. "What? But how..?" Gladion said under his breath. "I trained her up pretty strong, huh? In combination with Lucario about to attack and the Dark type stab, Sucker Punch did a lot of Damage! It's almost like the type advantage didn't matter!" Moon explained cheerfully. "Go PorygonZ!" Gladion yelled as he chucked another one of his pokeballs to the field. "PorygonZ! Use Tri Attack!" He commanded. It did a good amount of damage to Absol and Freezed her. "Absol! Return" Moon called her back. "I choose you Tsareena!" She yelled as she threw an Ultra Ball to the field. As she came out of the Ultra Ball, small stars came out from it. Baffelled, Gladion said  "A purple haired Tsareena... Is that-?" "Yup! A shiny! I was shocked too when I found her!" Moon explained with a smile. Gladion shook his head to get his focus back to the battle. "Use Signal Beam!" he called. Gladion sure knew his type effectiveness well. Tsareena took a beating from it, and was down to 40% of her full health. "Tsareena use High Jump Kick!"  The Tsareena jumped into the air magestically. As the sun hit her at a different angle, you could see her shine more brightly. As Tsareena's leg plowed into PorygonZ, Gladion took a step back and grunted as if he could feel the pain from it himself. A 130 base power Fighting Type move like that would have normally knocked him out, but Gladion's PorygonZ was holding a Focus Sash and held on with 1 HP! Gladion directed "Finish her off with another Signal Beam!" This knocked the Shiny Tsareena out. "Okay Raichu! It's your time to shine!" Moon yelled as she threw her last Pokeball to the field, and out came an Alolan Raichu. "Raichu! Use psychic!" The psychic obviously knocked out the PorygonZ. "Weavile! Come on out!" Gladion yelled as he threw his last pokeball to the field. "You didn't bring Silvally?" Moon asked, confused. "He needs some rest. He got beaten pretty hard the last battle we were in." Gladion said looking down at his feet. Moon wanted to comfort him, but also didn't want to stop the battle for that. She knew she could always comfort him later, so she just continued. She looked at Raichu and said "Weavile is immune to Psychic, so you know what that means!" Raichu gave her a grin and a nod. Together they started Alolan Raichu's very own Z-move's dance! "Stoked Sparksurfer!"
Waves of Electricity splashed down on Weavile. It did a lot of damage, but held on for Gladion. He really had a close bond with his Pokemon. Sadly, the move left it paralyzed, so it couldn't really do anything. "Finish it off with a Discharge!" Moon yelled.
And like that, the battle was over. Moon called back Raichu and walked over to Gladion. "Good battle!" It was in one ear and out the other for Gladion right then. He was looking down at his shaking hands, like he would usually do when he lost fights, but somehow it was different this time. "Hey... Are you okay?" Moon asked.
"You... You beat me so easily..." He commented. He dropped to his knees and let his arms fall to his sides, still looking in the same direction. "I can't believe it... I could only beat one of your Pokemon and all three of mine fainted so fast..." he continued. Moon crouched down in front of him to look him in the eyes. "You don't need to take it so personally Gladion. If I had known you would I wouldn't have wanted to battle. My Pokemon we're probably just too overleveled for you. It's not your fault." With that last sentence Moon layed her hand on his shoulder. "And I'm sure whatever happened with Silvally was the same." Moon finished. Gladion looked up at Moon and apologized "Thank you. I'm sorry for being such a bad sport"
"It's fine! Now let's go get your Pokemon healed up."

Sorry if these past 2 parts seemed kinda filler-y. Hopefully the longer parts stay though! I just really liked describing the battle lol
