Moon walked back to Gladion's room. "You look like you have something on your mind" he said right as she entered. Gladion was good at telling these things. She sat down next to him. "I ran into your mother." She started. "She didn't give you any trouble, did she?" Gladion interrupted. "N-no she didn't. She actually wanted to talk to me." Moon answered. "Talk to you? What about?" Gladion asked. "She actually talked to me about you. She says you haven't talked with her since she came back..." Gladion looked down. "It's true, isn't it? She can't apologize if you don't let her talk." Moon continued.
"Moon... Why do you always give people a second chance?" Gladion asked. "I like to think everyone has some good, even if it's buried deep down!" Moon answered with a smile. "I guess you wouldn't have a reason not to..." Gladion answered, hiding his face. Moon half wanted to slap him and yell 'STOP ACTING SO EMO AND JUST GIVE YOUR MOM A CHANCE!' but she knew that wouldn't be a good idea. Instead she grabbed his shoulders to turn his body towards hers. "Look, can you just give your mother a chance? Not for her, but for me." Moon asked, looking him in the eyes. "Okay." Gladion responded simply.
