Everyone was frozen. Half a minute passed before Lillie ran away. Gladion let go of Moon as he stared in a random direction, deep in thought. It was up to Moon to save this situation. She put back on her shirt and went off to find Lillie. She wasn't far away, sitting in her room. "Hey Lillie..." Moon started. "No, you don't have to explain it to me, I understand." Lillie calmed Moon's worries. Moon sat down next to her. "So it was him... The boy you kissed was my brother..." Lillie thought aloud. "I... I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." Moon apologized. "It... It makes so much sense. Why he chased after you, why he held your hands. It was because... he loved you." Lillie continued. "I'm sorry Moon. Can you tell Gladion I'm sorry too?" She apologized. Moon stood up and said "It would be more sincere if you tell him yourself." Lillie took Moon's extended arm and walked to Gladion's room with her. They found him pacing with his head in his hands. "Gladion?" Lillie said as she walked up to him. He stopped and turned to her. He sighed and said "Yeah? Got something to say?" "Yes. I... I'd like to say I'm sorry. I shouldn't have barged in on you two like that, I... I promise I won't tell anyone." Lillie apologized and explained. Gladion's eyes widened. "You'll really keep it secret?" Lillie wrapped Gladion into a hug. "Of course. It's the least I could do." she answered. "Just... Lock the door next time." Lillie joked as she left the room. "I should probably get headed home now." Moon said. "I'll come with." he insisted. As they started walking, Gladion said "Oh and... It's nice to know you trust me." Moon smiled. Their walk was mostly silent, simply letting everything sink in and marinate. Before they knew it they were already walking of the boat on Melemele. "Moon... That day... I really wanted to walk you home." Gladion confessed. Moon have him a confused look. "When you were... taken. I knew I should have walked you home, but I stayed back to clean up. If I was there I-" Gladion explained. "There was nothing you could have done. Don't blame yourself" Moon said trying to cheer him up. Before long they were at her house. "Goodbye for now!" Moon said cheerfully as she entered her house.
