Time skip and Lucy's POV
It's winter now and the school is buzzing about the upcoming winter formal. I'm excited but also nervous because it's a big party. Levy will be there though and so well Natsu's friend Gray. They fight but they are good friends still. We agreed to be together just so nothing happens because I don't want Natsu trying to kill anyone for hurting me.

"Have anything to wear for winter formal or are you buying something?" I ask Natsu.

"I never went to one before so I don't have anything. I'll go shopping later. What about you?"

"I have just the dress to wear. But it's a surprise." I tell him with a smile and he smiles back.

"Alright. Then mine will be a surprise to. I'll pick you up about 7 ok?"

"Ok. See you then!" I say happily and watch him rush home.

I head inside and get ready. I know he's going to shop and find something so I have time but I'm so nervous and excited I can't stand it! I decide to take a shower to make sure I'm clean and ready. I dry myself and blow dry my hair. Next is to style my hair which took a while. Then makeup and now the dress and shoes. I look in the mirror and smile. My dress is ice blue with ice blue heels on. Next is jewelry which is a silver and crystal necklace matched by a bracelet and earrings. Perfect!

"Miss Lucy. Natsu is here." Virgo calls through the door. I rush to the door and open it. She sees me and smiles. "You look beautiful Miss Lucy."

"Thank you Virgo." I reply and smile as well.

I walk out of my room and to the front door and see Natsu in a red suit  Of course he'd wear red. I giggle and he turns and looks at me and his eyes grow wide and he smiles brightly.

"You look beautiful!" He shouts and rushes me and hugs me tightly

"Thank you. You look rather handsome yourself." I tell him with a smile and he just smiles more.

My dad walked in and saw us together and smiled happily. He took a bunch of pictures and said he would email them to Natsu's dad. We start to leave when my dad interrupts.

"I'm leaving tonight so Natsu I expect you to be here the whole time I'm gone. Don't forget. Hurt her and I'll hurt you. Understand?" My dad says in a serious tone.

"Yes sir."

"Good. Now go have fun." He smiles and we smile back and leave.

We get to the party and have fun. Everyone loved my dress, especially Levy and amazingly Gray as well which made Natsu jealous because Gray couldn't keep his eyes off of me.

"What?! I love ice and she's basically wearing ice everything!" Gray shouts in defense

"It doesn't mean check her out!" Natsu shouts back and gets in his face.

"I'm not! I just like what she's wearing." Gray growls.

"Natsu calm down. He's your friend. He won't try anything with me."

"He better not."

After that we all just tried to focus on the party. We danced and ate and had fun. Whenever we had to use the bathroom someone was close by just in case. This gave me a sense of security which helped me relax tremendously. By the end of the night we were tired and just went home. We have Gray and Levy a ride home and went home ourselves. Natsu went home quickly and changed and packed a bag to come to my house. He's beyond happy to be allowed to stay with me.

We got back to my house and I went to my room and changed quickly. I opened the door to let Natsu in while I removed my makeup and let my hair down. I saw Natsu behind me waiting patiently. Once I was done he grabbed me around the waist and pulled me to the bed making me squeal. We laid down and he just cuddled me close and nuzzles into me. I just giggled at him. He's so happy just to be close to me.
