Lucy's POV
I wake up cuddled up with Natsu on a Saturday which is my favorite way to wake up. I look at him and feel so content and I also wonder how it is he loves me so much and not any of the other girls. No doubt that there was no connection felt with them but still I wonder what made him fall so hard for me.

"Good morning. Any particular reason why you're staring at me so intently?" Natsu asks suddenly snapping me from my thoughts.

"No reason." I sigh and he knows I'm lying of course because he's looking at me with that 'I don't believe you' look

He suddenly smiles and sits up and grabs my computer and starts typing.

"What are you doing?"

"I just remembered something because of how you we're looking at me. I remembered a song I heard my dad play one day a while back and he started to cry and turned it off. It wasn't long after my mom died so it hit him hard. But for you I think it'll hit you in a good way. Listen." He says and plays the song. I listen and amazingly hear him sing some parts.

With everything I am" Natsu sings this part in particular to me and I can't help but blush and wipe tears. I never heard him sing and he sounds amazing and the lyrics hit me hard.

"Natsu. You have a beautiful singing voice and what you just sang was just as beautiful." I tell him while wiping my eyes.

"It's all true Luce. I promise you from the bottom of my heart that I will love you til death do us part.
I promise you as a lover and a friend that I will love you like I'll never love again with everything I am." He says softly and holds me close.

"You are amazing Natsu. You know my thoughts and feelings and you know whenever I have even the slightest doubt and you just dash it away completely."

"You were having doubts huh?"

"Just trying to figure out what makes me so special compared to all those other girls." I say with a sigh

"Lucy. I love you because you aren't those other girls. They just wanted me cause I was popular or the schools bad boy or even just to have sex because they knew I loved it. You came along and you literally pulled me from my darkness and showed me there's more out there." He says and pulls me into his lap "You showed me I'm worthy of love. You showed me how to have fun and not just think with my hormones all the time. You showed me how to relax and just enjoy being in someone's arms. You helped me get on track and do better in school because I have a future to look forward to, with you." He says softly and holds me close because now I'm crying.
