'That's what they call you, isn't it?' The man questions. 'Shark. Why's that?'
'That's for me to know and for you to figure out.' Emma smirks. 'You're a fed. You can figure anything out.' She stands up.
(A/N: This agent will be called Special Agent Roy Greene.)
'What would your father have to say about all of this?' Roy questions, looking up at her.
'You said you'd keep him out of this.' Emma looks down.
'Well if I had to arrest you, I would have to call him and then I would have to explain our little deal.' Roy says as he stands, buttoning his blazer as he does. 'Make no mistake, Emma. If you do not cooperate, I will destroy your life.' Emma looks back up. 'So what will it be?'
'I wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for you.' Emma says, looking back up. 'What would the bureau have to say about all of this?'
'Who do you think they'd believe?' Roy grins, smugly. 'The words of a teenager that we've bust multiple times or the words of one of the most valued agents who just so happens to be a decorated Army Vet.' He adds. 'So, I'll ask again. What will it be?'
'Your investigation finished before I even moved here.' Emma says. 'The bureau doesn't need me anymore.'
'The bureau doesn't, but I do.' Roy replies.
'Go to hell.' Emma scoffs before walking away.
.
Later on that night, Emma walks into a house where a party is in full swing. She walks into the kitchen and grabs herself a cup with beer in. As she's doing that, she feels someone stand behind her.
'So you're the infamous shark?' She hears a male voice say. She smirks, turns around and sees a young boy, her age smiling at her. 'Cobra speaks about you a lot. I gotta say, I didn't expect you to look so-'
'So what?' Emma asks.
'Innocent.'
'Believe me.' Emma laughs. 'I am far from innocent.'
'I'm Brad.' The boy introduces himself.
'Emma.' She takes a sip of her drink.
'So, why do they call you Shark?' Brad questions.
'You're asking the wrong person.' Emma replies. 'People just started calling me Shark and I guess it stuck.' She shrugs.
'Cobra told me to give you these.' Brad pulls her in as if he's about to kiss her and slides a bag of pills into her back pocket.
'So you know Cobra?' Emma asks.
'More like Cobra knows me.' Brad smiles.
'Cobra knows everyone.' Emma states. 'And just a word of warning, if you ever pull me into you like that again, well- let's just say that you won't be able to move for a few days.' Brad steps away from her.
'You're even feistier than Cobra said. I didn't expect you to be, with you being a-' Brad points out but then stops.
'A girl?' Emma raises an eyebrow.
'I like it.' Brad adds as Emma finishes her drink.
'Don't let looks deceive you, Brad.' Emma Smiles before walking away and leaving. She walks out of the house, walks around the corner and gets into a car waiting for her. Roy is sitting in the driver's seat.
'What made you change your mind?' Roy asks.
'I got what you wanted, so don't worry about that.' Emma sighs. She gets the bag of pills out of her pocket and hands it to Roy. 'It's a bad batch, by the way.'
