The Alpha's Mate

Chapter 11

Katie's POV:

     The next day was Thursday and it went by quickly. Cash and I met uo and made the swap, with him making sure the money was safely hidden and locked away in my car. Then we went about our day.

     Also, Friday went by a little fast as well. I had texted Amanda and Rebecca and asked if they wanted to help me get ready for my date with Cash. They were at my door at exactly 5:00 P.M and that left me with two hours to get ready. Amanda loaned me a pretty royal blue summer dress and Rebecca had heels to match. Rebecca did my make-up,  keeping it natural and Amanda curled my hair and then I was ready.

     As I was standing in front of the mirror admiring my friends' handiwork,  they left to go find their boyfriends. At exactly 7:00, a knock sounded on my door. Thank god grandmother's at work. I thought. And continued, opening the door, and trying bot to gawk like a fish out of water.  He, however, was openly staring for about 2 minutes before smiling and saying, "You look amazing!"

     I nodded my thanks and together we climbed into his car and drove off. It took about ten minutes to get to the movies so I was a little confused when we had been on the road for about an hour. I looked at Cashton questionably and he just smiled saying he had a surprise.

     So after about another hour of being on the road, he finally turned onto a road and about ten minutes in he pulled the car over to this gorgeous meadow. We got out and he grabbed my hand before pulling me along to a place in the trees. When we had walked for a little bit we came upon this picnic that was lighted with both candles and pretty lanterns.

     This must have taken him forever to do. I thought as I stared at all the lights. We sat down and started eating. Him telling ne more about himself and me either nodding or shaking my head to his questions.  Then suddenly he gets really quiet. He sits up from laying on the pillows and stares right into my eyes before blurting,  "Katie, there's something I gotta tell you."

     I just sat there and looked at him waiting patiently for him to finish. "I'm a werewolf, as well as an Alpha." Well. I was not expecting that. But honestly I didn't care. Throughout my life I had read tons of werewolf books, so really I had only one question. I looked in the basket and saw there was a notebook and a pen. Pulling those out, I opened up to a clear page and wrote, Does that make me your mate?

     After that I passed it to him, ajd honestly he seemed a bit shocked by my question. He looked up at me and immediately said,  "Yes, babygirl, you are my one and only mate." At those words she smiled and then wrote, I'm glad. Passing it bacj to him he smiled and leaned over and gave me a kiss that was full of love and passion. 

     Hopefully this will change my life for the better,  now that I have a badass Alpha as a mate. We continued to hang out till about nine, and that is when we finally gathered our things and left. He walked me up to the door and carefully kissed my lips before waiting until I was completely inside and the door was closed before leaving.

     I turned around and was grateful to find out that my grandmother was still at work. I climbed the steps before taking a quick shower and passing out. But not before answering Cash's goodnight with one of my own.
