Chapter 22

    

Katie's POV:

     After that, we all went outside and Cashton made me get into the only vehicle then he climbed in himself. It turn out that the only person whi drove was the doctor, and Cash was still making me get checked out just in case.

     The two weeks with barely any sleep were catching up to me quickly, and luckily Cash noticed as he grabbed me and pulled me onto his lap.

     "Go to sleep Katie. I know you've endured a lot."

     "I can't. What if I got to sleep and your gone and I'm trapped again."

     At those words, his eyes darken. "That will never happen again. Don't worry, nothing will get to you. Hey, your the Luna, it ain't just me protecting you. You gotta whole pack."

     And with that, I finally let myself go to sleep.

     When I woke up, I found myself in a huge room. And by the scent- oh my gosh, I can't believe I actually said that.- it was Cashton's room. And as I was looking around, I felt an arm go around my waist and pull me closer. Wow,him didn't even realize Cash was in here. Well, of course he was, this is his room afterall.

     Just looking at his features had the past two weeks memories rushing back. Two weeks. A lot had happened. None of it good, but the absolute worst part was not being able to see him. Yeah, when I was a little strong I cound talk with him with the mind link thing but it wasn't the same.

     "You done staring kitten?" Cashton said with a smirk.

     "No....... Crap, I mean yes."

      And that earned a laugh from him. He sat up and immediately placed his lips on mine. I know that what he was going for was a short kiss but I wouldn't let him stop. In fact, I only deepened it. But he pulled back and looked at me concerned.

     "Are you sure you wanna do this? You've been through a lot."

     "Yes, if anything, it's all I want. I'm sure."

     "Okay, but you have been warned." He said his eyes full of mischief.

     Then he pulled me toward him and just started kissing me.
