Cashton's POV:
I stood in the waiting room pacing. Well, bothered pacing amd fuming really. The doctors made me leave because the room was too small. Well, I thought, I guess it's time to build bigger rooms.
I was not going to leave her alone again. Not after everything she's been through. My beta and third in command, as well as their mates were there. All looked excited and a little worried.
So, after three of the most miserable hours of my life, my mates screams stopped and the crying was heard. Before waiting for the doctors' permission I ran in. Anxious to see my mate and baby.
"Congratulations Alpha. It's a boy!" Doctor D. said.
I stared down at my mate while she held our son.
"Well, have you thought of a name?" She asked.
I thought back to all the names I had thought of as soon as she told me that she was wanting me to name him. But all those names didn't matter. Looking at him, I had the perfect name.
"What about Dexter Able Wayne?" I asked looking a luttle nervous. I wanted her full support on it. It was our son after all.
"That sounds perfect." Is all she said before scooting over and pulling me down beside her.
She gave me the baby, which I layed on my chest with an arm wrapped securely around it. And with my other arm, I wrapped around my beautiful mate.
As my mate slept, I thought about how as soon as she came into my life, she made it somehow better. I was no longer living to keep the pack alive and safe, but also to live my mate. And so, I began planning how to do the perfect proposal.
