Hayden's POV
I set the diamond on the nightstand before walking over to my closet and pulling out a large duffel bag. "Time to blow this hero's town." I snarl as I start throwing my makeup, my accessories, and other personal items into the bag. Once I am done with that I walk over to my closet opening the doors and start shuffling through which clothes I want to bring with me to the Isle and what clothes to leave here. I shove the selected clothes into the bag zipping it up and placing it near the door knowing that escaping Auradon without anyone noticing is not going to be easy, but it is not completely impossible. I walk over to Harry and carefully slip off his wedding ring before walking over to the nightstand and place both Harry and Heidi's wedding rings in the box, I turn the box around opening the secret compartment in the back of it and pull out a piece of paper. "Still hidden in plain sight." I open the paper that has the location of the secret tunnels on it, and what tunnel leads to where. "Now that I have a way out, all I need to do it get rid of the last two obstacles." I look over at Harry and Henry who are still asleep. I slowly walk over to Henry and pick him up holding him in my arms. "Aunt Hayden is going to take mommy and daddy home baby, and that means you are going to be left behind." Henry slowly opens his eyes and yawns. "No turning back now Henry, I have done too much evil, and people will be looking for your mommy to persecute her for the things I have done." Henry lifts his small hand towards me and I take his hand into mine. "Your mommy has been through so much in her short life Henry, and I know that she is never going to forgive herself for leaving you like her mom left her." Henry starts making noise and I notice Harry starts to stir in his sleep. "You are going to be raised by people who love you very much, and I will make sure to check in on you from time to time I promise." I place Henry down in his crib before walking over to the nightstand and picking up the diamond. "I have to do what is best for me, and that means having to make the hard choices that Heidi wouldn't." I make my way back over to Henry and place the diamond in his crib. "Hear my words, diamond now obey me, I demand you to help me with thee. Remove memories from Henry's mind, all memories of Heidi and Harry until the end of time." I chant and the diamond shines brightly as it retrieves all the memories from Henry, and seconds later the diamond stops shining as the glow dims. "That was harder than I thought it would be." I take the diamond out of Henry's crib and smile at Henry who has fallen back to sleep. "That takes care of the baby." I walk over placing the map and the diamond on the table before sitting down and pulling out a blank piece of paper and I start writing a letter to the first person that finds Henry, and I make sure that whoever finds the letter thinks that Heidi wrote it.
'Dear Auradon
If you are reading this that means that Harry and I have left, and I don't want anyone to worry because we are okay. The two of us have chosen to leave because there are answers that we can only find on the isle, don't come looking for us because if you love us then you will let us do what we have to do and find answers to these important questions, this is our chance to prove to everyone that it is possible for villains to get a happily ever after. We are not sure when we will be back, and so with that said I am leaving Henry in the care of his godparents Ben and Mal, I have all the faith in the world that you will look after Henry until Harry and I return.
Miss you all already, and I will see you all again very soon.
Heidi, Daughter of Hades
I reread the letter feeling dirty for writing all that goody good crap when I really wanted to tell them all off, and that I was never planning on coming back, but deep down I knew that if I wrote the letter I wouldn't be on the isle for long before some of the others came looking for me. I fold the letter placing it in Henry's crib. "Now there is only one thing left to do." I turn my attention to Harry who surprisingly has not woken up once this whole time. "Talk about a heavy sleeper." I take a deep breath knowing that what I am about to do would destroy Heidi if she ever found out, but if I want my happily ever after I need to take drastic measures to ensure that it happens. I pick up the diamond and place it near Harry. "On this night and in this hour, let all the goodness in you be undone. You will forget what has happened before the sun rises. Your feelings for me and the memories after Ben escaped, you shall never again bare." I chant and just like Henry the diamond takes all the memories and the feelings attached to those memories away from Harry. I am left to just sit on the bed and wait for Harry to wake up to see if my spell has worked or not, because if is hasn't then I need to come up with a plan B. Harry stirs in his sleep as he rolls over onto his back and he releases a deep breath as his eyes shoot open.
