Sang's POV

"Lin! Please! You can't leave me. Please. I can't let you go. It's dangerous! Don't go-Don't go...." And with a flick of her wand, she left.

*5 years later*

I woke up with a start. My tears flowing down, and I wiped them off. Just to be replaced with more. I just watched as they glittered and sparkled as the ran down my cheeks, to my chin, and rolled onto the bed. I rubbed my eyes and wiped the sweat from my forehead.

Gigi, my familiar and Kiki's daughter, mewed softly and cuddled into me. Her fluffy black fur shimmering in the early morning sun. "Sorry Gigi. It was just a nightmare...just a nightmare...Did I wake you?" She just snuggled deeper into me falling into a comfortable sleep. I carefully set her back onto her cat bed, made of silk and adorned with lace. A spoiled cat she is, with a jeweled collar. I grabbed my wand, and with a small flick, the bed and all of its tangled sheets, righted themselves. I fingered my messy hair, the magenta dyed tips were fading.

Smiling ruefully, I went to take a shower and re-dye my tips. After that fun, I decided to make a quick breakfast. The sizzling of bacon and scent of cinnamon and eggs permeated through the kitchen. It was times like this that I missed having Wil around. I missed him more and more, even the littlest things reminded me of him. I wished Kayli was here still, but I had spent a lot less time with her. She was happy, with a baby boy on the way, and her lovely fiancé. He was rich, and was smitten with her from the beginning, though he didn't know that at first. He was a playboy in the beginning, but she was similar. Now two years later, they're getting married.  Kayli Coaltar. Has a nice ring.

I smile at my thoughts. A fluttering sound resounds and a caw and a hoot echo throughout the kitchen. I glare up at the birds that were making a mess of their food and had messily entered through my kitchen window. "Creek, Thea, stop making a mess." I few pitter patters enter the room at that moment, and I begin to take out some food for them. The chipmunks, Chip and Dale, began eating some nuts and stole a little bit from every dish. "Bun-Bun, Vixie, make sure you eat a lot. You need more meat on you bones. You're too thin for my liking." I stroke the small lop-eared grey bunny, and the small albino fox. I leave out another dish for Gigi and grab a sun hat from the rack. They were all animals I take care of and saved. Their parents either died or abandoned them in the harsh woods. I've raised them to be strong and healthy, Vixie being the newest addition. Her mother had abandoned her because she had a genetic alteration and was born albino. A white fox in the middle of the woods can't hunt well, nor hide with such a vibrant coat.

Heading outside, i checked up on the river plants and the ones in the garden to make sure they were healthy and growing. Harvesting and weeding anything I found out of place. I also looked into the underground basement to look at the night plants.

So with that, I begin pruning Lin's garden. "The flowers are withering."

Wil's POV

"What do you mean!? Phil we can't jus-" They we're all arguing. I despised it, but I couldn't do much to stop them. How I longed to be near my beloved rather than here in a stupidly boring meeting.

I don't understand why I'm in this meeting, I already knew what was going on.

This meeting was for our safety. We had to disappear for a while, get off the grid. My brothers, as I've taken to them more than most anyways, were angry and scared about this news. Volto was becoming more violent, aggressive, and creepy overall.

If that were even possible.

He was chasing after us, even more after we got so close to figuring him out. He shut us down, both virtually and in reality, and we lost all of our progress. Changing it all completely in a matter of seconds. It was frustrating to say the least. But in a way I was happy about this revelation.

It meant I could go home. It was off the grid, and no one knew about it. I could see my beloved girl. Although she didn't love me that way, and viewed me as her 'precious' son, I could still protect her from leering men. That was enough for me.

The problem was when she found her own beloved. My sister already did. It was only a matter of time before Sang did too. Especially with her lovingly sweet nature and her beauty.

I saw Axel finger his necklace. It was made of a broken ring with small black jellyfish inside it. He seemed to have tried to piece it together, and tied it on a string.  He was always fiddling with it. I saw his magical power running through him And his aura was nervous and shaky. It was pretty strong. Almost as strong as mine, but it was strong compared to most. All of my brother's magic was extremely strong for regular humans. Perhaps that is why they were so drawn to each other, and clicked so quickly.

"Where would we even go Dr.Roberts?" Mr. Blackbourne, as we were forced to call him, asked.

"I know a place." I piped up. While I wasn't happy about it, I couldn't let them get hurt. They were a part of my family now. I begrudgingly trusted them and loved them.

Sang would be angry if I left them without offering too. So I have her to blame for having them come along.

I finger my pocket watch. The smooth, warm, almost pulsing item comforted me. It was as if Sang was with me, and never leaving my side. Like she was watching over me, and it was a symbol of reminder that I was family. That she was waiting for me to come back to her.

Should I make a small short story of Lin's past? Would any of you read it? And if I did, would you guys like me to put it here? Or make a different book for all of my one-shots/short stories?
