Angel and fallen angel

((Like holy shit guys! So this story I started in August [hah Augustus :,3 Yeah very funny me] a few days ago got to 100 reads, yesterday it was around 150-160 reads and I just looked at it now it reached the 210!! I'm so grateful guys thank you for all the reads and everything!!))

-"You know your pain could just end."

A male's voice went through the room as Augustus screamed out again in pain by another rune and a new hit on the back, he was chained up and treated badly.

-"She won't won't here!"

The male voice's owner, Lucifer smirked as walked up to the angel and lifted up his chin by his jaw.

-"Are you sure about that? Also how comes you're such a nice angel hm? Isn't it boring just to obey orders all the time and all.... isn't it bad to just take care of a kid in most of your 'life' when you could be free?"

-"Stop it!! I'm not corrupting my God!"

-"Oh how bad, I think you would look awesome with black angel wings~ you would be the best, my right wing! My helper! You could be better than Maxwell could ever be!"

-"SHUT UP!!"

-"Heh I see~ so the bad words are okay from an angel but to obey an order from the Satan is too much for ya, isn't it?"

-"You're worse than anyone could ever be, the worst, the worst... the worst in the whole universe!"

-"Aw why thank you~ you're being too nice!"

The angel stayed quiet as kept looking down, the new blood starting to get dry on his back as he didn't get a new wound yet.

-"So Augustus, it would be just a word for you and you would be free and without pain."

-"I won't even if you kill me!"

-"Augustus.... don't play the good boy, I don't have time for this~ you know I'll kill you anyways if your little friend won't come today."

-"And what would you do if she would come?"

-"Of course I would be nice!"

-"The truth."

Lucifer smirked as saw how much the angel knew him and hardly could manipulate him.

-"I would of course capture her, it's a trap anyways, I wouldn't leave you alone and hurt you in front of her until she agrees and accepts the darkness.... then I'll kill both you and Maxwell! I don't need any of you alive then."

-"You piece of...!"

-"Piece of what?"

-"You can't make me say it.... I won't be corrupted! I won't let down my guards, I'll be loyal till the end!"

-"Hmm... Alright. But you could be just like Maxwell, then Willow would probably love you."

-"L-Love me....?"

The angel's eyes widened a bit as his heart started to ache a bit and his heart went faster and faster and he gulped one.

-"Isn't it your dream, angel? Isn't your little secret that you've fallen in love with her by the time? So did Maxwell you know... and now that you're here, giving even your life to make her happy and keep her safe, Maxwell is there with her and doing nothing yet he gets her whole attention, a nothing worth demon, right? Isn't it just too.... unfair, Augustus?"

He kept silent as was almost to believe it, his heart aching more and more then he quickly shook his head.

-"N-No! She's not like that... even if I would die for her it would be worth if she would even smile just once more in this life! Her life... is the most precious thing in the whole galaxy... and she's not any like you! I won't let her accept the darkness and be your slave! She's better than that, she's pure!"

-"Ow that hurt a bit Augustus~ you could be just like Maxwell, with black wings... what he doesn't have anymore, a fallen angel."

-"A.... fallen angel...?"

-"You didn't know did you? Remember the big fight, 1000 years ago between the hell and the heaven?"

-"Of course I do, I was fighting as well."

-"Remember the dead angels?"

-"Yes, 6006.24 dead angel, exactly."

-"Are you sure, Augustus?"

He looked down as he was thinking, getting more and more confused then slowly looked up at him again with a whisper.

-"One body was never found....."

-"Exactly, my skeletons found him half dead down here so, I helped him, corrupted him just like the way I did with you, but he was hurt from the start, he was the one, Max Smith."

-"Max Smith!? The one who was so hard to choose to go to heaven or hell!! He was the one who was abused by his parents to death, hurt all the time then tried to be suicidal but failed... they corrupted him, hurt him in his whole life then once made him to kill, just to survive. He killed, he took away someone's life.... he was broken. It was so hard to....... choose....."

-"And after that? The angels never tried to find him or to help him here, he was so sure someone would come to find him and save him but no-one came. He waited for 10 whole years! The sadness corrupted him... Till he broke over and over again, his soul corrupting to the point...."

-"The point he became a fallen angel...."

-"I ripped out his black wings just to make him worthless for the thing to take care of the girl and get enough close to her to get her to our side but he was maybe too pure inside, he changed and got to love the girl. Well, I've got things to do now so...."

Lucifer left and Augustus looked down in shock.

-"Max.... I was a friend of yours back then yet now you don't remember a thing.... I promised I would protect you from now on, that now on no harm will reach you.... they say that after life there comes the deserved rest in heaven.... yet what you got was just more and more pain.. I'm sorry Maxwell........"

Hours later

Lucifer was beating Augustus again to break him but he kept his word and never said okay to accepting the darkness, he wanted to protect Willow and now Maxwell as well.

-"THEY WILL NEVER COME HERE!!"

A skeleton just ran in, talking to Lucifer.

-"My lord! The girl and the demon just arrived!"

The male smirked.

-"Are you sure about that? Are you sure you can protect everyone, angel? Life is rough, so is afterlife."

Augustus's eyes widened as Lucifer started to walk away and skeletons tried to carry him away as he started to shout and they covered his mouth quickly.

-"NO NO!!! WILLOW MAXWELL NOOO!!"
