A soft chuckle bounced off the walls of an exam room as a once white towel glided along the edge of a blade. The smell of copper hung beautifully in the air as blood gushed from his victim's abdominal area. Cleaning up was his favorite part, watching the light in his playthings eyes dull while he polished his tools. He took his time with this one, knowing rushing would be risky. One simple mistake and he'd be done for due to how public their arena was.

That's why as soon as she entered the room, he crushed her vocal chords. The gurgling and gasping as she choked on her own blood gave him goosebumps. Even now as she whimpered in pain, he couldn't help the pleasurable chills that ran up his spine. When she had tried to scream, he closed his eyes and shuttered, the power he felt from her fear.

So far, she had been the most expressive, oh how he wished he had more time. Plunging his claws into her flesh, tearing the muscle from bone, it was euphoric. Her facial expressions made him regret not finding other ways to bring her pain first and drag out his stay.

His tall frame squatted beside her, careful to not interact with her puddle of bodily fluids seeping across the tile. With a gloved hand he caressed her cheek, her tears a never-ending river flowing freely down her face. In her weakened state she tried to pull away from his touch.

"Shhh, beautiful," He cooed gently to her with a smirk, "it will all be over soon."

He swallowed the urge to wrap his hand around her long neck, as much as he longed to feel her heart stop beating, he was running out of time. Quickly the rest of his things were packed in his bag. Everything that was brought in was taken out. Gloves, shoe covers, weapons, paint brushes, towels. Anything that held any evidence that pointed at him it was taken.

Looking down at the woman on the floor once more he bit his lip and moaned as her body finally fell limp with death. A satisfied smile sat on his face as he adjusted this ball cap and pulled it low, he couldn't help but hope the detectives assigned to his case like the message he left on the wall as he casually walked down the halls of the hospital making his exit.
