Sophie POV

The sun's lights filtered through the clouds onto the ground making a small, warm patch of sunlight or a little spotlight amissed the foggy and cold day. The clouds were dark grey instead if it's normal fluffy marshmallow color and they sighed in anguish as they wanted to let go of their sorrows. To watch it pour onto the land below that second but it wasn't going to at that very stake.

But that doesn't matter because that small patch sunlight was beaming down at me like a spotlight as I approached my new school. It was my first day here, just after winter break for kids here. Foxfire is a fancy prep school. Everyone in San Diego wanted to go to Foxfire, no offense but even the children of the beggars wanted to go. People moved here just so their kids could go there. It is very hard to get in, its a miracle that I even got in, considering my past.
All the fancy celebrities went there, Sasha Obama, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Julia Roberts, Selena Gomez, and so many more because mainly celebrities came from Foxfire. This school was for stars and I was not one. Foxfire has been around for ages, from what I heard it was built in the mid 1800's, but they have upgraded it so much, it looks some much like one of thoose modern buildings. I felt like a piece of floating garbage standing right here.
I just know it... I don't belong here.

If that incident had never happened, I would never have be here and my life would still be perfect back in New York, though, its a huge honor to be here, but still.

I tugged my purple hoodie over my head and look down at my black converse as I walked into the large glass forum. Am I allowed to wear a jacket over my uniform?

I really don't know.

I put on my headphones, not earbuds, because I read a book about how bad earbuds are for your ears. By the why, I'm that type of person. The one that reads nonfiction for fun. When you search 'nerd' in the dictionary, my picture pops up. But, anyways, I zoned out in the song; High Hopes By Panic! At The Disco because, why not. I nodded my head to the beat, while thinking this should be the theme song for Foxfire. I started tapping out the beat on my new English book and sang the words under my breath so nobody could hear or notice. Suddenly a girl with a big smirk and evil(very evil) looking narrowed eyes with short very curly and frizzy hair, stuck her leg out and I tripped. I let out a yelp and crashed to the floor. Everyone snickered at me and the girl smirked. She leaned into my ear.

"Sorry freak, but your perfume smells like bovine, so toodles." She said and sashayed away with her minions. Who does she think she is? Mickey Mouse calling for Toodles the clock thing?

Ooo Toodles!!!

Back home, in New York, at my old school I had been the popluar girl, but here, I've been told I'm certainly not going to be excepted. Suddenly one of the jocks(Assuming he is a jock), a very handsome one at that, grabbed my English book, which happened to of landed by his feet and handed it to me.

"Sorry about that. Stina really is a jerk. Next time watch out for her... wait are you new? You are? Well, my name is Fitz Vacker." I stared, he had pretty wicked cool dark, wavy, brown hair and handsome teal color eyes that you could get lost in. I shook my head and took my book back.

"Hi Fitz. I'm Sophie Foster, now, good day to you." I replied causally and walked away before I could puke all over his perfectly ironed uniform.

THE  BOYS HERE ARE SO HANDSOME AND CUTE! My mind practically screamed. But it wasn't his gaze lingering in my mind. It was the boy with ice blue eyes and blonde hair that was standing next to him with his uniform wrinkled and tie loss around his collar.

His ice blue eyes.
