A poem written March 29, 2014

There was wind so I made a kite.

I wasn't good at it, but I still tried.

I wasn't sure but I made up my mind.

I left all worries and doubts behind.

So I gathered everything I needed,

Put them all together and smiled.

I asked the wind, can I make it?

And it answered, I'm sure you'll make it fly.

I believed in the wind,

believed in its strength.

I believed in my self,

believed that I can.

Just when I carried my kite,

Just when I opened the door,

Just when I was about to step outside,

The wind's not there anymore.

How am I supposed to fly the kite

When the wind has left me?

How will I know if I can

If the wind is gone?
