Kurt sighed blankly, looking over to Marie. "Isn't suicide watch 72 hours? And that's if you do attempt it? But I haven't done anything and it's been multiple days?"

"Try to appeal that to the nurses," Marie scoffed.

In perfect timing, a nurse walked in the room. Staring up at the ceiling, Kurt spoke. "Suicide watch, for those who have attempted suicide, is 72 hours. I haven't done anything suicide-related and it has in fact been multiple days. Can I speak to someone about this?"

"Actually, that's what I came to speak to you about. You are much better already, and there's no reason for us to keep you here."

Kurt sat up, looking at him. "Wait, seriously?"

"Someone will be here to pick you up shortly." The nurse left.

Kurt sighed. "Oh, thank god."

Marie smiled. "Guess your wish came true."

"I'm sorry that I have to leave you. You're the only good thing that's come out of all this," Kurt said honestly, looking over at her.

She blushed slightly, never having been told that before. It felt nice. "Don't be sorry. I'm glad you get to continue your life. I'll miss you, though."

Getting an idea, Kurt walked over to her. "Can I see your pen for a minute?"

She handed it to him, and he wrote his phone number on the only free space on her skin- drawing on her skin kept her from cutting, she had told him once. The nurses called her a black hole for pens. "As soon as you can, or as you get out of here, call me. We'll stay in touch."

She smiled, nodding. "I'd like that."

Soon Finn came to pick Kurt up, and Marie watched him leave. Looking at the number on her arm, she thinks she's found a new thing to decorate her skin with- she'll be damned if she forgets Kurt.
