"I'm going to head to class" I say suddenly and brush past Daniel ignoring him calling my name. I don't care if we're dragging attention but i want to head to class and gladly I don't have it with Daniel today.
I take my usual seat in the middle of the room. I didn't want this seat, I was assigned to it. I really can't do anything about it so I have to deal with it.
Class starts but I don't pay attention. I try so hard, but I can't seem to focus. My mind continues to wander off into some other place. I keep thinking about, everything. About everything that's has happened, and how last weekend has been so different. I got to meet so many people, and today sadly is the last day Maya and Dean get to stay with us. Their going back to college in California where they first met.
It's sad to think that I have to wait a month and a half for them to come back. It's been so nice to have them here, and I really do hope that they come to visit more often.
My wishes come true when the day comes to an ends. At least I got to concentrate during dance practice. I love dance and I don't know what I would do without it. Unfortunately this is the period of time where I wouldn't want it to end but I'm already heading back home in Cass's car, ready to say my goodbyes to Maya and Dean.
"I'll give you my number so that we're able to contact each other okay? You know so you can tell me everything that happens with your boyfriend Niall" Maya says whispering the last part in my ear.
I blush furiously as I hand her my phone so that she is able to put her number in my contacts. It's fascinating how hard I can blush with simple comments like that.
"Call me whenever alright?" I nod. "It was really nice meeting you" She smiles and pulls me into a hug.
"It was really nice meeting you too" I say to her and look at Dean who is already looking at me. I smile at him and he returns it. Maya pulls away from me and moves on to say goodbye to the boys and Cassandra.
"I'm going to miss you" Dean says walking up in front of me. He bends down and hugs me picking me slightly off the floor.
"Im going to miss you too" He let's go of me and I adjust my shirt. "Now don't have to much fun alright? I don't want to be an aunt so soon" I punch his shoulder lightly.
"None of that is going to be soon" He says and messes up my hair. It was Deans turn to say his goodbyes to everyone else hugging each and every one of them. He hugs Christian last which turned out to be an awkward hug. We're all used to saying goodbye to Dean, we know he comes back but its only after a matter of time
"Bye guys!" Dean and Maya yell in unison as they pullout of the driveway. I hadn't even realized that we were outside.
"What do you guys want to order for dinner?" And that was it.
For the rest of the week it was lonely at home and not have Maya around to talk to. Of course there is Jesse but then I'd have to call, and I'd prefer to have someone in person. There really good listeners but Maya was here even when she didn't need too. Even if I had known her for only five days.
It's only Friday and I miss her and Dean. I miss him all the time, but this time it was different. I was already used to having him leave every month. there's practically no change.
"Give me one reason why not?" Daniel asks crossing his arms and leaning against the locker next to mine.
"Because first you come onto me saying I should stay away from Niall and then you practically force me to swear that I will stay away from him. How am I going to make that work if your telling me to go to Holland to a barbecue where you know he's going to be there?" I mirror his actions as I lean on one leg.
"Well bring someone then, you can bring that Nick guy that has been following you around all week" Daniel suggest but I shake my head no.
"I'm not going to bring him because I'm not going" I grab my bag and hang it over my shoulder.
"It's tough to battle with you isn't it?" I nod my head. "Well how are you spending your Friday night? And don't tell me you have dance practice because I know very well that it was cancelled for today" He challenges but I sigh in defeat. Am I really thinking about going?
"No Daniel-"
"Danny!" He groans rolling his head back in desperation.
"Daniel" I say slowly as he rolls his eyes. "I'm not going and you can't force me to" I say to him as my final words and walk away from him towards the school doors. I'm walking fast but I don't miss what he yells to me.
"You'll go not because I force you, but because something pulls you to" I stop in tracks and turn around to give him a quick glance.
I reach to Cassandra's car and let her bring us back home. I had told her that Nick was going to drop by later and she was glad to say that she would love to have him over for dinner. To be truly honest he said he was going to confirm to me to see that if he was able to come over.
We get to the house and immediately Cass begins to ask me a billion questions about Nick, if he is my boyfriend, and when he first asked me out. I pled to her that he wasn't coming over for dinner but for a dance he wanted to help me out on. But Cass being herself that she is insisted that if he comes to the house he will have dinner with the rest of us.
"What did you do to her?" Jacob asks chuckling as he enters the kitchen sitting beside me.
"Just told her that a friend was coming over" I laugh.
"Male or female?" He asks looking at me.
"Male"
"Oh well no wonder. This was practically her when Dean was on his way with Maya" Jacob taps his fingers impatiently on the counter as he glances on the clock.
"Are you okay?" I ask and he hums and looks at me.
"Uhm yeah" He assures to me just as his phone starts ringing. He looks at the screen and stands up from his chair. "Sorry I gotta take this" Without even taking his eyes off of his phone he walks out of the kitchen in a fast pace.
