Eccentric (Niall Horan)

Chapter 3

I see him suck in a breath but he is quick to hide it and looks away dropping the beers on the floor then bringing his hands on his hips.

"Liam, this is Century. She's the first friend I made at Green Bay High" Daniel says and I stand up to walk towards him. I smile and extend my hand out.

"It's nice to meet you" I say and he looks at my hand with his eyebrows raised. I'm not really sure if I made the best move.

"I'm a hugger" He says and wraps his arms around me. I'm surprised for a moment but then give in and wrap my arms around him. I look behind him and the blonde has taken a seat in a chair by the door. His head is straight facing me but he has his phone in his hand and his shades are still on. For some reason I feel like he is looking at me but his thumb is scrolling on his screen that tells me otherwise. I stare back into his sunglasses and his head lowers.

Was he really looking at me?

"Liam by the way" He let's go of me and smiles.

"Century"

"Well Danny you got yourself a pretty one" Liam says and elbows Daniel. He rubs the spot he hit.

"And Century this is Niall" Daniel quickly changes the subject and I look at the Blonde boy sitting down. He simply raises his hand but doesn't look up from his phone. I really do admire his torso, even with the tattoos and his toned body. His blonde hair has dark roots and it sticks up in a very attractive way.

"Ok well why don't we eat?" Liam suggests and we all sit down again passing around the food with paper plates. I honestly found this pretty fun since everyone just basically jokes around and fool around with each other. I had my laughs and I had my embarrassments but after all I had a really fun day with them. I don't even remember how long I stayed there but it felt like hours and the sun was setting already.

I haven't noticed Niall say anything since he got here. I've seen him whisper something to Zayn's ear every once in a while. He hasn't taken his glasses off so I don't know the color of his eyes. He looks so serious and even more when he chews on a piece gum that clench and unclench his jaw.

"Hey why don't we go for a dip in the pool" Giselle suggests. If I had to be aware of something that everyone here does, I would say that they give out a lot of suggestions and not all of them end up well.

"It's the middle of October" I remind her and she stands up.

"So?" She shrugs her shoulders.

"The pool is covered" I point out and she smiles.

"We'll uncover it then" Louis smirks and hits Harry's shoulder as he nods his head to follow him.

"Come on, do you want to go in?" Giselle asks and I rub my arm shaking my head. "Oh come on everyone is getting up to go in" She says.

"I don't have a swimsuit" I remind her and she rolls her eyes at me.

"I'll get you one then" She skips to the door and bends down into Niall's ear. He looks up momentarily and waves his hand at her. I see his head turn my way for only a second. I wonder if she was talking about me?

"Let's just hope that her size will fit your small curvy body" Zayn whispers in my ear and I shudder. He laughs at my reaction which causes me to redden in embarrassment and Niall turn my way.

The guys were striping by the pool and leaving themselves in only boxers. I realize the girls are gone and I'm left alone here. It wasn't until Louis pulls the cover off the pool. He yells something to Harry in which Harry yells back a response and the pool lights go on.
