I still in that moment. My breathing calming, but then in pulled by the large hands at my waist. Tugging me harsh but gentle towards an alley between two buildings. I hear the guys murmur and call out for us. Almost as if there complaining that I'm being taken. I still don't even look up at who has me grasped. I can tell already who it is.

Niall.

I look up at him slightly. His jaw is clenched and when he notices my stare he looks back at me.

"Ey where you taking that pretty little girl huh?" One of the guys shout, the words echoing the walls of the large alley.

Niall stops walking. Turning around and pushing me behind me. His hand is still grasping my arm. I can't see what's in front of him when his body is in my way.

"Why don't you fuck off" honestly I thought he'd do better but he's Niall, he's full of surprises.

"Protective over your girl aren't ya?" One of the guys smirks.

"Yeah, my girl" I shatter into bits. He called me his. He emphasizes the word my. The word rolling off his lips demandingly and seductively.

"Why don't you share" One of the other guys comments.

"I'm not that type of person" I didn't even realize Niall had his hoodie over his head and glasses covering his eyes. It's not a sweater he's wearing, like always it has no sleeves.

"Come on afraid? It didn't look like it from the way her hips moved" The first one spoke up causing Niall to clench his jaw.

"I don think you wanna go there" He growls.

"What? There's six of us, and one of you. I think we know how this is going to end" The guy chuckles. His laughter echoing the walls.

"You should know" He comments pulling his hood off his head and taking his glasses off.

When the guys look at him and it's like they've seen a ghost. They all flinch, taking a step back. I tilt myself so that I could look at Niall expecting the horror the guys did, but I see no difference.

"Shit, I'm out" One of the guys in the back says turning around and walking away out of the alley.

"Niall, shit we were just playing around, you know how we are" The boy laughed weakly. "But uhm I guess we better just get going, guys" He whispered the end part to his friends but it was loud enough for Niall and I to hear it.

Once the guys were gone and out of sight Niall turned to me, looking down at me then reaches down to grab the groceries that were shaking in my hands.

"Come on" He says to me walking before me to the other side of this large alley to another exit that leads to the parking lot. Only problem is we'd have to then walk around the entire building to get to Christians car.

"Are you coming or not?" He growls when he notices that I'm not following him.

"Who were those guys, how did they know you?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.

"Century let's go" He says.

"No, not until you answer me" I threaten. Niall glares at me then takes long strides towards me until he stands in front of me.

"I saw what they were going to do to you, youd be balling your eyes out if it werent for me" My eyebrows furrow, his intentions were to save me? From what?

"You saw? Wait what do you mean you saw? Saw what? You couldnt have seen anything unless..." Everything is getting to me. Everything is making sense. But Im very confused and unsure of all of his actions. He messes me up. I never have been so anxious of knowing everything about someone than I do with Niall.

Niall curses under his breath and takes a step back, fearing of what im thinking of he takes a step back. His chin raising just a bit and his muscles on his arms contracting.

"Niall I want answers now!" My phone begins to ring but I make no such effort to make any kind of movement in the moment. I already know who it is, and I bet hes waiting for me to come back. I cant right now. This is the wrong moment, I cant leave now.

"Century, its best if you should go. Your brother is waiting for you in the car" My inner self uses her fingers to pull her hairs out, screaming in agony and stomping her foot on the ground for not getting what she has been dying for these past few days.

Can a guy be so complicated?

Isnt that the girls job?

"Niall, Im not leaving until you tell me something. Im sick and tired of you accidentally saying something you werent suppose to say and then telling me that I should forget about it. But let me just tell you, I cant! Every night I stay awake thinking about what you say, or didnt want to say and just the thought of you keeps me up and Im sick and tired of it when really I just like to see your picture in my head" Ime breathless by the time I finish and Nialls face stays emotionless.

I gulp hoping Niall will give me a reaction. All he does is look back and forth between my two eyes. His actionless state worries me. I dont know what to do.

"Please say something" I fist his sweater in my hand. Tugging it down to pull him towards me.

"Century I said you should get to your car" I flinch at his words. No matter how many times I thought it through my head I already knew he was going to turn me down.

I swallow the lump in my throat and bite my lip looking away. Grabbing the bags from his hands I turn on my hees and walk away not wanting Niall to seem me like this again.

"Century!" He calls out. I turn around again waiting for him to continue, but he doesnt. His hand is in the air and slowly he brings it back to pull his hair. Like always he's debating with himself. He cant just make me go through this anymore.

"I thought so" I speed up my pace, turning right around the corner before I head to the parking lot. I stop leaning on the brick wall containing myself and closing my eyes. I hear the sound of garbage cans hitting the walls and crashing. I can hear Niall shouting and cursing. Not wanting to be in this presence anymore I take a deep breath and make my way back to the car.

"Century you okay?" Christian asks after I had placed the bags in the backseat and have taken a seat myself.

"Yeah" My voice cracks and buckle my safety belt. Christian looks at me his hands on the wheel. From the look on his face I know he knows there's something wrong.

"Century are you sure your okay?" Christian asks again.

"Yes I'm fine" I try to avoid eye contact with him. I can hear him shift in his seat so he can face me.

"Century don't think I haven't noticed what's been going on. Something's up I can tell from the way your eyes has changed" He comments. Slowly and cautiously I turn to look at him.

"What makes you think that?" I whisper.

"You have this spark, this glint in you eye I've never seen before" He says. "It's the same one I see in Cass' eyes when she looks at Jason. I can see yours only temporary, it's gone before I can tell what it is. I've started to notice it a week ago, when we came back on Sunday, yesterday, and right now"

I begin to pick on the dead skin on my wrist again.

"And don't even get me started with that scar, I've realized that too. You've started picking on it more often. I know what's going on Century" I gulp afraid to look up to him.

Without questioning it any further Christian starts the car and drives us back home. When we arrive he stops me before I get out of the car. His hand wraps around my arm tightly pulling me back. I turn my head looking at him in the eye. I know he wants to tell me something. I know that look.

"Just be careful, I know guys like him. I want you to be aware of who you're getting yourself into. I don't want you to then notice who you've started to become and not like it"

With that he's out of the car the groceries in his hand.
