Jason had come and joined Cassandra a little while after Jacob had left to take a phone call. Since both Jason and Cass were cooking dinner, I had nothing else to do but go to my room and start with homework. I overhear part of Jacobs conversation when I'm passing the living room, I can't help but stop and lean near the doorframe where he can't see me.

"Yeah man I'll be there" He's talking different. Almost as if he is trying to speak like Christian. "Sure yeah whatever" He hangs up followed by footsteps.

Quickly I go back to walking as if I had never heard anything. I make my way up stairs into my room. Just as I take my books out and sit down by my desk my phone begins to ring. Narrowing at it, I look at the screen. Louis' name pops up in the caller i.d.

"Hello?" I answer taking out my assignments as I press my phone in between my ear and shoulder.

"Hey Century!" Louis shouts in excitement.

"Hey" I chuckle at his sudden outburst.

"I thought you were coming today?" He asks. "Daniel told us you didn't want to come"

"Uhm yeah, I had a lot of homework to get done with" I explain as I begin to write a draft of my history paper that is due on Monday.

"You could do it on Sunday. Come on, you have enough time to come over, we're still on the grill and the food isn't ready yet" He says along with shuffling on the other end.

"I like to start it now and then finish it on Sunday" I say.

"Oh but Century, I really wanted to see you" He murmurs and by the way he talks I can already tell his actions.

"Aw thank you, I wanted to see you guys" I smile to myself.

"Oh so you don't specifically say me, ok I see then" I laugh along with him. "Besides if you wanted to see us? Then why didn't you come over with Daniel when he asked you to?" I sigh and lean back in my chair covering my eyes with my free hand and facing the ceiling above me.

"I already said I wasn't going, mainly because I swore never to go back there again" I explain and I hear Louis sigh heavily.

"This is because of what Niall said to you last Friday isn't it?" I bite my lip furiously and cross my arm over my chest.

"Yeah pretty much" Just when I thought I couldn't think of him again, memories of when he dropped me off invade my mind and his words repeat in my head over and over again.

Confusing is just another way of making you want to understand.

"Look Century, he's not even here. You can drive here or one of us can come and pick you up, simple as that" He suggests but he is so persuasive just like Daniel. Or Danny, or whatever he wants me to call him.

"It's not just that Louis I'm having a friend over so I'm busy" I say truthfully hoping he'd just forget about it.

"It's that Nick kid right?" He sighs.

"What?" How does he know about him?

"Danny told me about the kid following you around all week. Actually we all know because he commented about it to all of us" He says. Well now I know that Daniel likes to gossip about me with his friends. Who knows what else he's telling them.

"Well yes he's actually coming over" I say as my leg jumps up and down rapidly on the floor.

"What is going on between the two of you actually? Are the two of you dating?" Louis asks with some sort of hope clear in his tone.

"No, we're just friends. Nothing but friends" I assure to him thinking if it was the best way to tell him that or not.

"Good" I can hear his smile and now I begin to think it wasn't the best idea of telling him. I also don't want to get his hopes up thinking that there could be something between the two of us either.
