"Against what?"

"Against what?"

"Against you."

His face grew dangerously angry but then in a heartbeat, maybe quicker, he laughed.

A loud laugh.
He tilted his head back and laughed.
And then stood up walking over to the glass.

I stood still, not sure what to do or say in this very moment.

"Well I've got to say your not doing that well, at all!" He tutted and chuckled.

"But your locked up? They've captured you?" I was confused.

He quickly shook his head.
"I may not be in the car but I'm still controlling the wheel."

"How did they get you?" I asked, scratching my wrist, I bit my lip, unaware that my teeth sliced the skin,  drops of blood fell into my tongue, the metallic taste was warm and wet.

"They didn't, well, they think they did anyway, that's what I let them believe." He smirked, and adjusted his clothing, pulling it securely back on, tighter.

"You let them take you?" I asked, tilted my head slighting.

He smiled and nodded slowly.
"All part of my plan, I'll be gone soon, if everything runs smoothly." He sighed with laughter.
And jokingly crossed his fingers at me.

"And what if it doesn't?" The metallic taste still stayed on my lip, and I licked it in the inside.

"Nothing wrong with a bit of improvising." He winked.

And I smiled.
I rarely smiled, not after everything went down hill, not after my family.
I haven't smiled since that.

This man.
A god as people call him.
The man who claims to have created an army to take over somewhere, made me truly smile.

"So, Y/n, why are you in a cage, just like me, I don't see no danger in you?" He grinned and looked around my cell, he looked back up and our eyes locked in with each other- again.

"I can't show you.." I barley muttered, and squeezed my hands, remembering what Fury said

"And why is that?"

"He said if I ever acted up, he's press that button over there," I pointed towards the small red button on the tablet by the door that was covered with a glass box on top.

"And that would make this floor, drop out, so I would fall to my death, doubt that I would survive." I shrugged and stared at the red button hoping that I wouldn't piss him off one day or accidentally use my 'gift'.

"Said the same to me. But I bet I will get out faster than he could press that button over there." He chuckled.

"What time is it? I haven't seen day or night for at least three maybe four days? So I'm not exactly sure what time zone I'm in right now." I chuckled to myself.
