5 weeks later-
Yes, five weeks, you were still here, still wondering how you are alive, still breathing.
It was the same routine, a ferocious cycle, the mornings the give you the injection that battled your ability to cast a flame, basically freezing the cells in your hands, making them numb.
At the moment you were laying down in your cell staring out at the small box like window that sat in the top left corner, you licked your chapped broken, bleeding lips as you stared at it.
You were too big to fit through, let alone you had got extremely skinny from lack of a proper diet that the Shield would not provide.
You were on your own again, left in the freezing cell, lying on the floor.Your eyelids sometimes stuck together from the fresh blood that was slowly drying, you don't know why you were still upset that Loki or anyone didn't try to come for you, even though he was the one that told you to leave.
You really thought you had something with him, that you and him would be together forever, get married, heck even have a child, and it's funny because the first time you ever met him you were meant to defeat him of his army on the attack of New York.
Now? You were so deeply in love with him, but now- you had given up, given up trying to stay awake during the night because you had wished he'd be their to save you, to pick you up off your feet and carry you back to Asgard.
Now, you realised that life isn't a fairytale, that bad things happen to everyone and no one gets a happy ending, no matter how hard you try to be good, life at the moment was picking you up and throwing you back down, a viscous cycle..
You would've sworn that a few of your rips had broken as you had sharp pains in your chest and sides, but somehow the sadness numbed the pain, like you were now immune to it, everything was a blur since the last few weeks, literally, your vision sometimes gave up on you, either by the tears that blurred it of the blood sticking your eyelids together, your hearing however was perfect.
Except that was the worst, as you could hear everything, the tools Nick used, the ear throbbing screaming of your own, you had always wondered why you could only hear yourself, you hadn't seen any other, "test subjects" yet, it was always just you..
Just as you were about to close your eyes the big head lights that hung from your ceiling turned on, you squeezed your eyes shut at the brightness, then you heard your cell door ping open with an automatic- robotic beep, followed by heavy footsteps, and lots of them.
But you couldn't move, men field the room as they stood around you, guns in hands, you held your breath as you saw Nick walk out with a chuckle.
"Well, this is a sight to see." He looked down to you, lying on the floor, covered in your own blood and sweat, bruises that were purple blue and black covered your once clear skin, cuts and tears were engraved across your flesh, your hair was messy and knotted, and your eyes were dry and sore.
Nick bent down on his knees and roughly grabbed you by the arms, pulling you up, your weak body fell but he held you still.
"What- what's happening?" You almost whispered with a groan, your eyes were shut as the brights lights burned them.
Nick dragged you out of your cell, gripping onto your arms as your feet were skidded behind you.
"We're transporting you, now shut up." His fingers pressed deeper in your arms as a fair warning, you obliged the message.
You took the time to briefly look around where you were and you were surprised, it wasn't professional that you thought the shield was, it wasn't clean or white or any source of expensive equipment, it was as though you were in a abandoned factory, with cheap equipment thrown into the dirty corners.
There wasn't any logos that you thought you would see, not many people even dressed in lab coasts.
Your eyes widened as tears struck at your eyes, the pain from his grip getting too tight.
You swallowed thickly as you were kept being dragged harshly."Do- do you really work for the s-shield?" You whispered, and you felt him freeze, he held his breath, like his body became stiff.
Oh god.
You were right..
But if you were right? Who were you with right now?
Who have been torturing you, testing on you?~~~~~~~~~
Loki was in the dangerous state again, not caring for his appearance, isolating himself in either his chamber or the library, where he mostly sat with his thoughts.
Thor was worried for him, and he kept trying to convince Odin to let them pass onto Midgard, but Odin declined, every one of them...
Loki became angry and confused, easily irritated with people, including the maids that came to tidy up his chamber, would usually leave either crying or in fact scared of the prince as his temper was too much for the sensitive woman.
It had been five weeks, seven in total where Y/n had left, and he still didn't understand why.
He loved you, and you loved him, he was good at problem solving but this? Was merely impossible to figure out.
He missed her deeply, he felt lost without her, and now that she had gone he realized how much he actually loves her, how he wants to hold her durning the storms that she hates, during the cold nights..
Loki felt as if he lost a piece of himself, he had nightmares which he told no one about, but Thor soon came to guess that was the case, as sometimes he could hear Loki screaming in the night.
Thor has kept himself awake during the nightmares that his brother experienced- almost every night, Thor stayed in Loki's room, even though Loki almost stabbed him, threatened Thor to leave him alone, but deep down Loki needed someone there..
"What can we do, Thor?" Loki asked weakly, nervously picking at his nail as he brought it to his mouth, he sat leaned back in his chair, sitting in the library with his brother, the fire flickered as the storm did the same.
Like the night Y/n left..
Thor sighed wandering around the library his eyes floating around the hundreds of books is that sat in the old wooden shelves.
"We have tried everything, Brother, but i'm-" he swallowed his eyes darting over to Loki.
"We cannot give up." But Thor's voice had already given up, Thor was tired, tired from keeping awake just so he could let his Brother sleep, even though Loki did not want help he needed it, and his Brother as there.
Thor stood outside of his chamber most nights, just to check if he was sleeping, he'd been thorough so much with his brother, and he loved him, he really did.
"I'm so lost brother, i'm so empty, without her i feel like nothing.." Loki almost cried, but he didn't, instead, he hid his tears by placing his two hands over his face, leaning into them and closing his tied eyes.
