You sat in Loki's bed awake and still, your eyes wide open and your breaths quiet, not moving a muscle.
Loki was asleep next to you, his back turned away in a deep slumber..

Your body was froze in shock as you tried to focus and to be silent.. someone was here, here in his chamber, in the room with you.

The darkness was the only thing you could see, nothing else, you didn't know what to do, your breath's were shaking now, slow but uneven, you were scared. Terrified even, quiet footsteps could be heard in the back of the room, with frightened eyes you looked to your left.. oh god.

The window... the window was open, someone is inside the room.. your hand shot up to your mouth as your breathing was getting too loud.

Quietly, your hand slid to Loki's arm, touching him gently, holding on.

He had taught you how to communicate just with your mind, and you had learnt it well, but not well enough to read thoughts, unlike him.

As you touched him you tried to wake him up with your words that you sent to his mind..

Loki. Loki wake up, someone is inside the room.

Loki please wake up.

Your body jumped slightly as his hand slowly connected with yours, his thumb stroking the top of your hand.

it's just me Y/n.
Listen to me, you have to stay quiet, and stay here.

You turned your head to feel the movement of Loki sitting up quietly, even though you couldn't actually see him, you just saw his silhouette, his hand held yours comfortably as he could feel you shaking.

Don't leave me, Loki, i don't want you to get hurt.

Another hand of his connected to your face, cupping it softly.

I will be alright, just stay here and be quiet, don't move.

You calmed your breathes as you could feel Loki's hands leave you, his silhouette got off the bed quietly and he began to make his way across his own chamber.

His silhouette was gone as he disappeared into the darkness, you held your breath as you tried to focus on every sound.

You were not sure if it was the intruders footsteps or Loki's, it made your stomach turn in worry.

A minute had gone by and you had no communication from Loki, the room had gone silent and it felt still.

You sat in his bed, shakily clutching the fabric of the covers as you breathed as silently as possible.

Loki are you alright? Loki?

He didn't answer, so you decided to take the leap of faith.
