You didn't want to make eye contact with the king, but you felt his eyes dangerously bore into yours.
You felt a small bit of courage to look up to him, but only for a second.

He hummed to himself, "My son was right, you are better off as a fighter," he thought aloud tilting his head.

You're nothing but a weapon, to be used and chucked away, but at least you wasn't getting tied down like an animal.

He looked behind of you to his other Son, Loki.

"and you, have proven that you are more than what you put out to be." He gave a slight nod of respect to his Son, you looked behind you to see Loki with a sly smile on his lips, unnoticeable but to you, you could see it, and Thor could too.
You still didn't know what to say, you feared that if you would say anything they would send you back within a heartbeat.

Odin looked at both you and Loki, with silent eyes.

"Both of you, I have got my eyes on both of you. Now go and clean up, Thor."

Thor nodded to his father, walking off with his hammer lifting up heavy metal of the elves ship and moving it so people could get passed.

Odin turned to you, "You have incredible power, which in the past you had used for the wrong reason, but today I have put my faith in you again, do not let me down."

You nodded, your fingers trembling.

"My son." Loki perked his head up to hear it from his own father, he came forward walking passed you.

"I'm sorry." Loki apologised, but he still stood tall, his shoulders straight and his head high.

"I know, you are my son and I love you, make the right choices in your life I tell you from experience." Odin sighed, patting Loki on the shoulder as he nodded at him. Odin walked off helping his people, and going to the guards.

So that left Loki standing in front of you, you fiddled with your fingers as you waited for him to turn around.

And when he did your heart almost dropped, was he..crying?

Your mouth dropped open to see tears buried in his eyes threatening to fall if he blinked, you didn't know if he was sad or happy.

But he was happy, it were tears of relief and acknowledgment of his own father, he felt proud for him to call Loki his own son.
Odin and him didn't have the best of terms and you knew that right away, so it must've took a lot for Odin to say that.

Loki quickly wiped the tears and sniffed, "let's go help."

You nodded speechlessly, watching his beautiful features, his glowing skin and his hair, his height and his eyes, this man was definitely a God.

You went to help a small boy who said his sister was trapped underneath the floorboards but as soon as you went over, the boys mother came over and hurried him away form you, scoffing at you, calling you a witch underneath her breath.

But as she walked away you lifted the heavy floor boards to show that there was a little girl underneath, she wasn't harmed or injured, just scarred.

The mother turned back to see you help her daughter for whom she had been looking for.

"My baby!" The mother gasped and the little girl came jogging over, as they embraced with a hug the mothers eyes came onto you, mouthing "thank you."

You smiled to yourself as you walked away helping others.

You caught your eyes again on Loki, as he lifted a entire wall of a mans legs who was moaning in pain, once it was lifted Loki helped him up and he thanked him, even though people of Asgard knew what he did in New York- rumors spread quick here.

You forgot you were starring when Loki looked back at you with a small smirk on his lips, he turned back around, helping others.

You breathed out facing away quickly, your cheeks red from embarrassment, he caught you starring.

3 hours later,

You had spent the rest of the day cleaning and helping people of Asgard, it made you feel nice and happy inside, like you were a true good person, you hadn't spoke to Loki since he caught you starting, he had only exchanged looking with eachother, mostly either a smirk or a sly grin.

You were walking back to your chamber when you saw Loki enter the library, a small pile of books in his hands as he pushed the loose door forward, as you walked passed the library you stopped and felt the warmth of candlelight and fire.

Without thinking you too yourself pushed the door and entered the library, straight away you spotted Loki in the dim firelight, his back was facing you as he sorted out book on his desk, stacking them up.

Loki's armour was taken off and out in the chair beside him, you could see the whole of it but only the shiny gold bits that reflected off the fire, his helmet was placed in his chest plate, gleaming onto the floor.

Your heart began to flutter just by seeing him.

"So it this where you hibernate?" You chuckled softly, tracing the bookshelves with your finger tips , the only light in the room was the fire and the candles that were plotted about, it gave the room an orange glow that lit up his skin.

Loki chuckled too through his nose and turned around on his heel with two books, he turned to him leaning on the bookshelf looking at him.

He began to walk towards you, half of his face was lit up with an orange tone as he walked closer to you with a small smirk, you held your breath as he was inches away from you now, he took a step closer and your bodies touched, your heart pounded desperately and Loki's eyes never separated from yours.

He meant forward so you could feel his warm breath in your neck, just as you thought he would kiss you, he leaned in and instead placed the two books around your head, his eyes never breaking from yours.

What a teaser..
He walked backwards to his desk with a smirk and a small wink..

This man...
