"So... The staff and councilors wanted to make sure i was secure. They asked me who i felt most comfortable with. I told them you, if you don't mind." I commented to Taylor.

"Thanks but where are you going with this?" he asks as we walk to his friends.

"Well that's why I've been in every of your classes so far." he cut me off, "Yeah! You never text me your schedule."

"That's what I wanted to talk about! So they decided to give me all of the same classes that you're in." I didn't want him to seem like I needed him. I especially didn't want to come off clingy.

"Clingy much?" he said directly.

"Um what?" I was kind of shock.

"You know I'm playing! I'm glad to have these classes with you. Why do you think you're here at this school? I want to spend time with you. The more the better!" he chanted really happily.

We were heading closer to Tay's friends.

I heard a voice that seemed so familiar in Taylor's friend group.

"Jack?" I whimpered.

Not only did Jack, the one who Taylor introduced me to this morning, but another guy turned and looked to me.

"Uhh which Jack buddy?" the blonde Jack questioned calmly.

I stared blatantly at the brown haired boy who looked at me, assuming he was Jack.

"You okay Shawn?" Taylor questioned out of concern.

"I'm fine but um.. Jack, don't you rememeber me." I said gaining closer to Jack with the brown hair, eyes, and muscular arms popping aside from his tank top.

"What?" he demanded, softly of course.

The guys, Taylor and the Jacks just looked flustered. I saw Matt and Carter come through. Now there's more awkwardness.

What if this guy isn't my friend that I always talked to on the phone. I hope it is.

"We used to always talk on the phone freshman and sophmore year." I told him.

"SHAWN?" he screamed as he ran to me for a hug. "We have never met. I can't believe this is the first time! Shawn, Shawn, SHAWN!"

It was like one of those Youtube videos where distant relationships meet, or like a Tumblr post when someone finally gets to see their interent friends and followers.

He held me tight not letting go. Clenching to every part of my body.

Taylor and blondie Jack, just stared awkwardly like they didn't need to be there, nut they end up having a small conversation to themselves.

"Shawn is this really you?" he asked me.

"What question is that!" I yelled.

"Hey guys, this is Shawn Mendes. We use to be friends until I lost complete contact of him. Then we gained connection during freshman year all over again." Jack bragged. "How did you even get here? Like its crazy why are you here!?"

He was so excited that he rarely let me talk or explain our friendship.

"Taylor wanted me to come back." I answered.

"Oh, Taylor." he said quietly. "What do you mean back?"

"I was here before but I stopped coming after the second day."

Our small talk died down. I was getting along pretty well with all of them.

Taylor and tall Jack seemed to be fighting for me. I personally didn't get it.

Eventully nearly the of lunch, Tay started to get up from the outdoor tables with the other Jack.

It kind of sucked considering Taylor was always by my side, and he promised. Now he's flooding away.

"Hey isn't it like Jack and Jack, then Shawn and Taylor?" Matt whispered to Carter. Which I clearly heard and I'm sure Jack.. uh.. Gilinsky did as well.

That's it. His name is Jack Gilinsky. While I was hanging out with him, I started rememebering more of our friendship.

"Taylor!" I ran after him since he wasn't to far away. He didn't look back.

I texted him in an instant until Jack said, "Oh so Taylorcaniffyounot hmm?"

It was visible to see who I was texting since my phone upwards while my arms pressed against the food table.

Damn. I'm sure he notices the cuddling pictures that I sent to myself earlier with Taylor's number.

> HEY TAY WHY DID YOU LEAVE.

It took him nearly five minutes to reply.

< you don't need me there

"Hey guys I gotta go, I well. Yeah, you guys are nice but I should-" Carter cut me off saying, "But we have class together after this." I just waved goodbye.

Walking around, I thought about where Taylor would be. He likes shady spots where it's a bit quiet so he could be loud to himself.

I heard someone whisper, "it's fine if he doesn't want to be your friend because I will and always will do so." I wondered what all that mishap as I tuned the corner of the open halls.
