I didn't know what to do or think. Taylor, my boyfriend, is my brother.

"Shawn! Come on now." Taylor started weeping to me.

"What I don't think this can work." I stated.

"Why not?"

"Because! You are my brother! I just found out I had a brother. That I never knew I had!" I yelled. "And that brother is my boyfriend!"

I started to cry as I felt a hand on my back. "I'm sorry it had to be this way Shawn." With that Taylor walked off.

"Son, if its alright. Mom and I are going off to some bar and have conversation about this all. If anything, I called over housekeeping just to check up on you just so you have some company and snacks over. Shawn is it okay?" my dad asks. Why did he have to call her mom. I understood but I still couldn't take this all in, at least not yet. "Ok dad."

He came over to rub my back since my face was still sunk into my pillow as I laid on my chest.

After I heard the door slam, I walked up and looked around. Taylor had gone too. Good, I needed space.

I heard a knock on the door, around ten minutes after they left.

It was just housekeeping. "Hi I know you're not feeling well son so I'll just be in the kitchen cooking your favorite."

I nodded to he and gave her a light hug.

Jack Gilinsky was the one guy I knew I could call and so I did.

"Jack please come over I need can you please. Just say you will." I started to make a muffled tone.

"Why are you crying Shawn? Just stop, I will be over right away." he hung up instantly and I went over to the kitchen.

"A friend is coming over." I told her.

Couple of minutes passed by and I automatically knew Jack was coming over by the sounds of the footsteps barging on my yard.

"Shawn! What's wrong!" he yelled at me pulling me for a right hug. "Shh, my babysitter is over." I noted as I released the hug but he wouldn't loosen his grip.

"Jack you could let go. At least let me take you upstairs." I commented. "Can we stay down?" he asked.

"Look, you look like you've been crying too. Is this it? This session here is not just for me. I think you need some therapy too Jack Gilinsky." I held his arm.

"Boys I have mini snacks in the kitchen. I'll be going for a book in the outdoor upstairs lounge if you boys need me." my nanny announced as I waved.

"Tell me your story first." I asked Jack.

"What? There's nothing Shawn." he said in anger and softened his tone in this next comment, "Look. I came here for you. Now tell me what happened."

I took a heavy breath and grabbed a pillow to clench to my body as I spoke, "I have a brother I never knew about."

Gilinsky made a face that wanted me to continue.

"Taylor is my brother."

I looked down to the ground, holding my pillow tighter as my heart pounded. I said it again but I don't believe it. Jack refreshed his face with his hands.

"Shawn..." he cut himself off and threw the pillow across the room, grabbing my whole body and just squeezed tight. This was the tightest hug I've ever received in my life. I felt like I was slowly loosing air.

"I can't breathe."

"I wouldn't breathe either, if that happened to me."

"No I really can't. You're holding too tight." he slowly let go but I still held on.

I end up putting my body on his as he laid on the couch. I was on the left of him, on the inner side towards the couch cushion as he played with my hair and we talked about this whole situation.

"So we were all friends. This is why I always felt close to you when we would talk online. Then when we met at school, I felt something for you Shawn. We've always known each other. Wow." Jack put pieces together as I listened. "When you left, all the guys broke up."

"Speaking of break up... I don't want to be over with Taylor but this whole situation is difficult." I shared.

"It's okay. Lay with me and vent out everything for as long as you need to."

And that's what I did.
