Sam's P.O.V

"Because I am going to join Team Z."

Matagal na katahimikan ang namagitan sa aming dalawa matapos kong sabihin 'yon.

Bakit hindi siya nagsasalita? Alam kong hindi na dapat siya magulat dahil obvious naman umpisa pa lang, kapansin-pansin na ang dami nang bumabakod sa akin na mga miyembro ng Team Z. And those rumors that he heard were true. Pero, hindi ba siya nagulat dahil biglaan ko iyong sinabi?

But, who cares what he thinks? Ang mahalaga ang nasabi ko na ang gusto ko, and yet...

"I know it, Sam.." sabay sabi niya at saka dahan dahang lumapit sa akin, "--no, I knew it already from the start... that I have a zero chance to have you on my team."

"Then..?" alam niya naman pala eh, bakit gusto niya pa din akong i-recruit sa Team nila?

Does he really think he has a chance? 

"Team Z is such an amazing Team, and that is because they have an amazing leader." panimula nito. Nagreact naman agad ako sa aking isipan.

Wow, I can believe he complimented Zaylik!

".. I admit I envy them because they are ranked number one many times in a row. They are indeed undefeated Team.." he added. "But the one thing I don't really understand is their Team members. How can they pull it off despite of being an incomplete team."

Muli akong napaisip sa sinabi niya. He's right. I heard, matagal na silang walang wind elementallist dahil hindi sila makapili ng member na kukumpleto sa Team nila.

But, I don't see any wrong with it. Yung iba nga na incomplete Teams ay nama-manage makapasok sa Top 10 eh, just like his Team, Team V, yung Team Z pa kaya?

I want to comment it pero mas pinili kong makinig na lang muna.

"I don't understand. They don't have a wind elementallist before and now they wanted one? They are already strong enough to keep their position high, and now they are recruiting you?" humarap siya sa akin, "There are so many average wind user here but they chose a newbie like you?" saglit akong natigilan sa sinabi niyang 'yon, "I don't understand, Sam. I just can't believe that--!"

Napangiti ako, "Tama na, narinig ko na." umiwas ako nang tingin nang marinig ang pinagsasabi niya tungkol sa akin.

"Sam, it's not what you think--!"

"But Prince Martin, I am aware that I'm a newbie and I am lack of skills and knowledge in this world..." I glared at his yellow eyes, "However, I know for myself that I am not weak. At kung may kahinaan man ako, 'yun ay kapag nasa panganib na ang mga taong malapit sa akin." pagdidiin ko.

"Sam, please don't think yourself as a weak person. The reason why I want you to recruit on my Team is because I acknowledge your strength." he said like he wants to make clear things out.

"But why are you questioning why the Team Z chose me?" I exhaled. "Hindi ba ako pwede? Iba ba dapat? Yung mas magaling ba sa akin at may alam? Ganoon ba?" 

"Yes! Because that how it should be!" hindi ko inaasahang direkta niyang sagot.

"Sam.." mas lumapit pa siya sa akin, ".. If you look it closely, do you think a strongest team will recruit a person who has no knowledge and experience in battle?"

"Why not?" mabilis kong agap, "Ano bang mali do'n?"

"No, you don't understand.." umiling iling pa siya na parang may gusto pa siyang sabihin pero hindi niya rin masabi. Ano ba ang hindi ko maintindihan? Naintindihan ko naman ang pinu-punto niya ah?
