"Brooke.. Will you uh... Will you go out with me?" Luke said through the phone.

My heart is beating so fast and I can't stop smiling. He sounds so nervous, its the cutest thing in the world. I feel as if my heart will pound through my chest.

"Yes! Yes Luke!" I say, crying. (tears of joy, of coarse!)

"Yes!?"

"Yes!! Im so glad you asked! Im so happy!"

"Me too, Im the happiest person in the world!"

"You?? Luke Fucking Hemmings just asked me out!!" I yell

"Thats not my middle name!" He laughs.

We both laugh until I say "Im so glad you called, Luke. This is the first time I talked since I got home..."

He suddenly stopped laughing and let out a gasp. "...What?"

"Uh.. Nothing.."

He was a bout to say something until I hear someone yelling from his end of the line. "Luke, get off the phone, bus is leaving." I hear him sigh. "That was the bus driver. Ill talk to you soon, okay?

"Okay." I say.

"Okay." He says back.

"Wait, so just to clear this up.. Were dating right?"

"Yes Luke! Ill talk to you later."

He laughs, "Okay, well talk about this later. Bye"

And I hang up.

I think over what just happened, and scream. I have never been so happy in my life. I cant breathe. My phone suddenly vibrated, and I got a Twitter notification.

@Brookeclifford: I cant believe I can call you my girlfriend. (: I miss you.

I decide to Tweet back.

@Luke5sos: Ive never been so happy in my life, boyfriend. (:

I go downstairs to find my mom cooking dinner. Shes on the phone, so I hide. I overhear the conversation.

"Thats right Michael, she stopped talking again. .... I know, Im so worried. I dont know what to do! ...... Ill make sure that shes taking her pills. ..... Her old therapist? She hated that therapist. ..... Yeah, she was good though.... Ill talk to her .... Oh Michael stop crying, youre gonna make me cry! ..... Oh Michael...." She started crying.

"Yeah, I'll hold on. ....... " She put the phone on speaker and set it on the table, since shes cooking. I could hear Michael talking to Luke on the other line. "Michael! She said yes! Brooke said yes!" "Wait, did you call her?" "Yeah! A few minutes ago!" "..And she talked??" "Yeah!"

"Michael? Whats he saying?"

"Brooke talked! Luke called her and asked her out, she said yes!"

I figure that thats my cue, and walk in. "Brooke!"  "Hey mom..." I go up to hug her. "I love you.." She hugs me back tightly, "I love you so much Brooke. And I miss you. I missed you when you were gone, and I missed you when you were here. Where did Brooke go?" She says crying. "Im right here, mom. Im so sorry.."

"Mom?" We hear from the phone. "Can I talk to Brooke.." She looks at me and hands me the phone. I take it and run up to my room.

"Hey Michael." I sit down on my bed. "Brooke.. Im so glad youre okay." He says. "Well, just because I'm talking doesn't mean I'm okay. I hate it here.." I hear him sigh into the phone. "How's Luke?"

"Hes great, Brooke. Hes so happy, and he cant believe you said yes."

"What? Why wouldn't I?"

"He thinks youre way out of his league and we all agree." Michael says. "Ha ha. Very funny. You guys are dicks."

"What? Brooke, that was a compliment."

"I obviously dont even compare to Luke, and you guys are joking, saying that Im out of his league. Well, its not funny Michael."

"Brooke, were not joking." He says completely serious. "Here, let me put you on speaker." I hear him push a button and call in the guys. I hear them all run in. "No, Michael, stop." I say. "Oh Hey Brooke!" They all say. I sigh. "Hey guys."

"Whats up, Brooke?" I hear Luke say. "She doesnt believe me when I say that shes out of Lukes league." Michael answers for me.

"Michael, stop!" I say, embarrassed. They all laugh and go on about how far out of Lukes league I am. "I thought for sure she'd say no!" Calum says. "Shes way too pretty for him!" Ashton pitches in. "Yeah, Luke sucks." Luke says in a deep voice, pretending to be someone else. We all crack up for a while then finally say goodnight.

God, I love these boys.
