I woke up this morning with Brooke on my mind. I can't get her out of my head,  and for some reason, I have a terrible feeling in my stomach. I hop off my bunk and find the boys in the kitchen. "Goodmorning, Luke." Calum tells me as I sit down next to Michael on the couch. "Have you talked to Brooke yet?" I ask Michael. "No, you should call her." I nod my head, and walk off the bus. When I step of the bus, I trip and fall into someone's arms. "Oh my gosh!" I hear a high pitched scream. I pull myself off this stranger, and look her up and down. Dark brown hair, brown eyes, and she looks about my age. Shes beautiful. We find ourselves staring into eachothers eyes, until I snap myself out of it.

"What's your name?" I ask the strange girl. "Ashley." She says in a beautiful voice. The name Ashley rings in my head for a few moments. "I'm Luke." I state. She giggles, "I know who you are." We both smile. "Well I came out here to call my girlfriend, so,  can I have a minute?" I ask awkwardly. "Uh, yeah, sure." She starts to walk away until I say, "You can wait in the bus if you want." Why did I just say that? I have a girlfriend. What am I thinking? "Okay!" She runs into the bus. I sigh loudly and dial Brookes cell phone. I lean against the bus and continue to call her 14 times when she doesn't answer. I try her house phone, and her mom picks up. "Hello?" I hear from the other line. She sounds tired, on this early morning. "Hi Mrs. Clifford." I say into the phone. "Oh, Luke! Hi honey! Do you want to talk to Brooke?" I laugh at her excitement. "Yes please." I hear her shuffling around, then go up the stairs. Im so excited to hear Brookes voice, I turn the volume up on my phone.

I hear knocking through the phone. "Brooke, are you awake yet?" The door creaks open, loudly. But not as loud as the scream that comes just seconds after. "Mrs. Clifford?" I ask, in a panic. I hear the phone drop to the ground and the line goes dead. I throw my phone on the ground and run into the bus. "MICHAEL!" I yell into the bus. "Yeah?" He asks worried. I suddenly lose my breath. "We have to get to your house. NOW. Something happened to Brooke!" I yell at him. His eyes immidietly widen, and he runs to the bus driver to tell him where to go.

Michael calls his mom I over and over as I pace the bus back and forth. "CAN'T YOU GO ANY FASTER?!" I yell at the bus driver. He rolls his eyes and continues to drive slowly. I scream on the top of my lungs, with my hands on my head.

I pace around the bus and reach the back. Ashton turns to face me. "Where are we going?" He asks. "Its Brooke. Something happened." I tel him, still shaken up. "Oh my god, thats terrible!" Calum pitches in.

"Who's Brooke?" I hear, in a familiar voice in the back.

Ashley. I flinch when I see her. I never should have invited her in. I just look at her then walk away, to the front of the bus. Finally were in Brookes driveway. Michael and I sprint to the front door, and up the stairs yelling Brookes name. We barge into her room, to find her mom crying over Brookes body on the floor. Michael and I freeze, in shock. "Wh- What happened??" Michael asks. "She took all her pills! She tried to kill herself!" Her mom yells at us. "Get her to the hospital!" Michael yells. We all carry her down the stairs. I don't dare to look at her face.

We get her in the car, along with Calum, Ashton and Ashley. We weave through traffic, and speed to the hospital.

We yell for nurses, and try and get her inside, and just like that, the nurses take her away.
