Teddy Bear // NJ

It was a cold day so you decided to just stay at home. You were lying in your cold bed when your phone rang; reminding you that today is Valentine's Day. You immediately turned it off and got sad at the thought of your boyfriend. You went to your phone's gallery and looked for pictures of you and your boyfriend together. You smiled the moment you saw a photo of him. His smile is everything. You thought.

You continued looking at them and you suddenly felt the urge to cry. You miss him, badly. His eyes, cheeks, nose, lips, and his cute dimples. You want to call him, but you know he's tired and you don't want to bother him. Having different time zones sucks. You told yourself.

Having an idol as your boyfriend is almost everyone's dream but little did they know, it can be a nightmare too. You can't go on a date freely because of media, his tight schedules, and because of his fans' hurtful words. You shrugged off that thought and calmed yourself down.

You went downstairs and made yourself a tea. You sat down at the sofa and sighed heavily. You saw the teddy bear in front of you; reminding you of the good times.

It was the teddy bear Namjoon gave you when you were still 7 year old neighbors; the day you two first met. He gave it to you as a welcoming gift when your family first moved in, and that was the start of you two's friendship. You thought its only friendship that was growing, but little did you know it grew more than that. You smiled from ear to ear remembering how he confessed to you, and how you kissed him when he did.

"I really miss you, Namjoon-ah." You whispered while hugging the teddy bear.

You checked your phone and there's still no text or calls from him. You checked the time and thought that maybe it's still night at his. You sipped the tea you made and closed your eyes. As soon as your eyes closed, you heard the doorbell ring. "Delivery!"

You were confused. You didn't buy anything online nor did your mom not told you about a package. "Wait a minute, please!" You said and wore your house slippers. "Are you sure it's mine? I didn't-" You opened the door to a man holding a teddy bear as big as you are. "I am sure I am yours." Your eyes widened at the view you were looking. You quickly hugged him with the bear between you two. "Yah! This is heavy! Let me in first."

"Why are you here?! Aren't you in- How?! What!?" You said still in shock. "What? You're not happy to see me?" He said and pouted. You let him in and put the teddy bear down. You hugged him again and he hugged you back. "I missed you so much, jagi." He said. "So do I." You replied.

"Did you like my surprise?" He asked and smiled at you, revealing his cute dimples that made you smile too. "I loved it." You said and gave him a peck in the lips. "Happy Valentine's. I love you so much." He said and gave you a sweet short kiss.

Sure it might become a nightmare but still, it's a never ending dream.
