Not Just Another

Daniela's POV-

     I absolutely cannot believe what I had just witnessed. Sydney had just moved the lipgloss with her MIND. Then, I'd came up with a thought. "Hey guys." I said, receiving everyone's attention. Everyone diverted their attention to me, hoping I had a plan. "Maybe we're locked in here for some reason. Think, why would we all be in here together? You all saw what Sydney did. Maybe we can do things with our minds too." I explain. By then, everyone starts taking turns with the lipgloss and tries to move it with their minds, as Sydney did.

     Everyone tried and tried, but just didn't succeed. Then, I had a bad feeling. Something was coming. Right then and there, huge bulge doors swings open. In the doorway stand three huge men. "Let's go. Your coming with us." The men began to drag us out of the closet. "HEY!" I yell too confidently. "Why are you doing this? Where are you taking us? Why do you want us?!" I yell hoping to receive an answer. One of the big men step up to me." Alright. Let's get the chatty one first. Thinks she's all tough." The man drags me and I try to fight back with all my might. He is way too strong. I wouldn't stand a chance against him.

     While being dragged off, I overhear one of the men's conversations."Yeah. Hey boss, I think we got em all. Well I tried but this whole damn schools on lockdown. Ok. Yes. Yes. We'll try but the cops'll be here soon." The man in the other line was so angry and loud I heard him from the other line. "I DONT FUCKING CARE IF THEY'RE GOING TO BE THERE JUST GET ME THE DAMN KIDS." That must've been their boss. "Can I just check to see that the rest of the students are alright? Please. I won't do anything." I beg. He grunts.

     He walked me towards the 3rd and 1st grade hallway. "Let's start here. I'm putting these handcuffs on you so don't get any ideas." The big man says. While I look through the little tiny windows, in each of the little classrooms, I see the kids huddled up in a corner most likely rethinking their life and how it's going to end. I felt so bad. After a few more minutes of making sure the students were okay, the man shoved me into the back of a black, beat up, dirty van with the rest of the kids from the closet. "Jeez, these handcuffs are mad tight." I whisper to myself as I step into the van.

   The big man violently shuts the door. "Geez. Who pooped on his cereal?" I say confused." "Don't worry guys. We'll get out of this." Tommy says. The van starts to vibrate and that's how we know that the engine had just started. Tommy gets up from the bench and nervously starts walking back and forth. "Ugh. I need to tie my shoes. I hate when they're untied. Wait. Maybe I'll try that mind trick thing." Sydney says. And with that, her shoes are tied in a matter of ten seconds. "I wish I could crawl up into a little ant and see where we're headed." Steven says upset. Then, Steven starts to glow. Purple, blue, green. And after that, poof. He's an ANT." AHHHHHHHHHH!!" I scream and stand on the bench frightened for my life." How the heck did he do that?!" I yell. Afraid and confused, Quinn grabbed the bench to keep her from losing it. All of a sudden, the bench turns into solid ice. "Okay. What is going on?!" Sydney exclaims. "And wait. Where's Tommy?" Sydney's asks worried. "Sydneyyyyy we know you like him you don't need to know where is is 24/7." I say rolling my eyes.

     "No really. Where is Tommy?" Quinn asks. All of a sudden, the back van doors swoosh open. And Tommy is literally hanging out the back of the van. The moving van. "Hey guys! I found our way out! We have to jump, it's now or never!" Tommy says out of breath. "Well, I'm not trying to die sooo peace!" I say and leap out of the van after Tommy. Then Quinn, then Sydney, and everyone else follows. I cannot believe what is happening right now and I don't even know where my phone is.
