Sydney POV-
"Lock Down, I repeat, Lock Down, This Is Not A Drill!!" We all looked at each other dumbstruck. We didn't know what to do. Quinn seemed to be the first to snap out of it. "What's wrong with us? We can't just stand here. We'll get caught! We need to hide!" This snapped the rest of us out of it. We went backstage and hid there. We sat in pitch black and were silent. We heard a door open and my breath hitched. Fear started to fill our heads and cloud our eyes. The foot steps disappeared and I thought we were safe. I was wrong. The door behind the curtains opened and light filled all darkness backstage.
Everything became a blur to me. The people grabbed us and pulled us away. We were only 16 year old girls and they were full grown men. They dragged us away and threw us in a dark room. Those people slammed the door and swiftly locked it. "Sydney? Sydney? Wake up." I came to my senses. "Omg, Sydney, I thought you passed out." Daniela said to me. As I sat up, I noticed that me, Daniela, and Quinn weren't the only ones in the room. I saw two other kids I knew, Steven and Tommy. " Do you guys have any idea why we're in here?" I questioned. I had a major headache after I seemingly passed out. I really just want to take a long nap. But I knew that wasn't going to be happening. "I don't know, all I know is that they are looking for certain people. I just have no idea why they are." Steven spoke leaning against the wall. After Steven spoke I noticed that Tommy was very quiet during this time. "What do you think about this Tommy? Any idea what's going on?" He looked at me and shrugged. "Seems they want specific people for a reason but I don't know why." He said. I noticed Quinn in the corner of my eye and looked at her. She was shaking her head in disbelief. "This is so wrong. They manhandled us. I am pretty sure that's illegal." She was furious. I stood up to be eye level with her. "Whether they have the right or not I am not sure there is anything we can do. You saw how they dragged us down here so easily. We don't stand a chance." Once I was finished, I slid down onto the floor. This was all too much to handle, and with this splitting headache I had, this wasn't helping at all.
"This is insane! We have to find a way out of here." Steven said walking over toward the door. "There has to be a way to unlock it." We left Steven to try and figure the door out. I stood up and began to pace back and forth. After a while Tommy exclaimed, "Can you stop pacing? You're making me anxious." I shot him a simple glare. "Cant help it. What else am I supposed to do when we've been captured by some random people?" That shut him up quick. He walked over to Steven to help him with the door. We all sat around quietly thinking of what we could do. After a while of thinking the door suddenly flew open. A huge man stood at the open door. "You will follow our orders. There will be consequences if you fail to follow these orders. Understood?" The man almost yelled at us. We all stared at him and said nothing. When we failed to answer him he began to raise his weapon. But before he could fully raise the weapon it flew out of his hands and into mine. I stared at the weapon now in my hands. I could tell the man was shocked. He stared at us and slammed the door with so much force it caused us to jump. Everyone in the room stared at me in silence. The silence was broken by Daniela basically yelling. "How did you do that? That was crazy!" I blinked quickly with a shrug." I-I don't know it just happened." It got quiet again. After a few more moments of silence Tommy spoke up," Well however you managed to do that you should figure it out soon because I am pretty sure they'll come back with even more weapons."
I looked over at him. I then looked over to Daniela knowing she had what I needed. "Daniela?" I said. "She turned around to face me. "Do you have your lipgloss on you?" She nodded and pulled it out of her pocket. "Why do you need it?" She questioned. It seemed everyone in the room was wondering that. "Just place it on the table." She complied and placed the lipgloss down on the table. She moved closer, curious to see what I was doing. " I am going to try something to see if it'll work." I fixed my gaze onto the lipgloss. I stared at it, willing the lipgloss to move without my touch. Rising off the table I had thoughts that confused me run through my head. Starting with how did that just rise off the table?
