JUSTINS POV:

We finally arrived back at my apartment after that dreadful gala. I didn't want to go in the first place but Corinna practically forced me. She wanted me to meet Michael her business partner and his girlfriend.

Who was Selena... my Selena.

Well was my Selena before I screwed everything up 5 years ago.

And yeah even though it happened 5 years  ago, didn't mean I didn't think about it or regret my decision.

Seeing her today was good. It was great and refreshing to see that beautiful face of hers again.

Sel- I mean Selena was right. I couldn't say things like that or think about her like that when I had a girlfriend.

"Justin!!!!!!" I heard Corinna yell

Rolling my eyes I ignored her and got into bed.

"I'm going to bed Corinna I'm tired." I said back to her

I didn't have time to deal with one her dramatic tantrums right now.

I had a long day at the office already and seeing Selena just made me more exhausted for some odd reason.

I heard Corinna's phone beep so I picked it up and took a look at it.

Chad: hey babe we still on for tomorrow?

Who the fuck was Chad?

"Hey baby I was thinking tomorrow we could go to that new fancy restaurant that just opened up on 6th ave."

I decided not to ask. But I knew perfectly well what was going on.

"Can't I have clients tomorrow. A new case just got assigned to me. Got lots of research to do."

You could see the disappointment on her face but I couldn't didn't give 2 shits at the moment.

"Well ok."

I payed back down and shut the light off.

"Night."

After a few moments I felt Corinna cuddle up next to me. Usually I would show some sort of affection but not anymore.

"Is everything ok baby?"

"Yeah. I'm just stressed because of work."

I felt her hand kn my thigh.

Clenching my jaw I asked "what are you doing?"

"Well why don't I make you feel better?" She said trying to sound seductive.

Maybe I wasn't in the mood or maybe it was because I just saw those texts and basically caught her cheating on me. But I was not feeling it.

"Please Corinna I'm not on the mood for sex." I scoffed

"You don't have to do anything just lay here and relax." She said kissing my neck.

"I said I'm not in the mood. So stop it. I'm serious." I said raising my voice.

"I just wanted to make you feel better sorry for trying to be a good girlfriend."

"Wanting to suck my dick isn't being a good girlfriend. Now leave me alone and let me sleep."

I heard her sigh before laying down under the covers. When I finally heard her steady breaths I let myself fall asleep.
