Description: After Louis confronts Marlon about his recent assignment to Clementine. He and her spend the afternoon checking traps. Enjoying each other's company until something happens. Leaving them both at a loss for their feelings.

(I recommend reading the first part.)
...

A/N: I've decided to take their romance slow. So for now I'm building up tension. (Which I've never done for this ship and man, is it fun.) If you liked this part, let me know! This is a longer part.

Rated: T (There's a rather intense moment. Nothing major, but this isn't rated K anymore-).

Word count: 2700 (Parts will be long because I don't wanna make this series too long winded).

...

Louis swings the office door open, startling the blonde at his desk with his abruptness.

He approaches the desk, furrowing his brows as he halts before the boy behind the table. Louis rests his hand on the edge of the wooden piece. Purposely letting out an irritated huff.

The blonde glances up from writing, pinching the bridge of his nose at the sudden disturbance and brief scare.

"What?" Marlon squints at Louis, raising his sparse brows in question.

"Why is Clementine saying we have to practice together now?" Louis questions, eyes narrow.

Marlon had to strain his hearing to keep up with him. His lips moving a mile a minute.

This was almost amusing though—Marlon slowly places his pencil in the old tin beside his other supplies. Gracing Louis with his attention. Folding his hands along his paper laden desktop.

"She told me that it was your idea." Louis ends with an accusing jab of his index finger. Balancing his free hand on the desk's edge.

"It was," Marlon leans back in his chair, nodding. Recollecting back a couple days. To the conversation with Clementine. It went well, according to the blonde.

"What are you telling her?"

He exhales heavily, slumping into his cushioned chair as Louis purses his lips. Getting ready for another outburst.

"Look, Louis." The blonde smirks. Leaning forward as he swivels to the side to stand.

"I'm doing you a favor," He circles the desk. Stopping beside the dread head, resting along the edge. Meeting the freckled boy's confused expression.

Marlon crosses his arms, giving Louis a smug glance.

"I'm helping you get what you want,"

Louis loosens up, eyes rolling. Arms hitting his sides as he eyes Marlon in disbelief.

"I don't need your help."

"Well you weren't going to make a move, so I did it for you."

Marlon laughs lowly, patting Louis's shoulder, hardly reassuring him. "I'm trying to set the mood for you two, you know-"

A knock sounds, interrupting the two abruptly.

Clementine peaks in, revealing herself to the startled teens. Louis felt his entire being heat up. Hoping she hadn't been standing there the entire time.

"There you are," Clementine smiles as she briefly searches the room, finding whom she was looking for—Louis, who left suddenly after her suggestion ordered by Marlon: practicing in the courtyard.
