Louis sat up in his bed, blinking at the assaulting sunlight that creeped in through the boards of the window by his side.

All he could think about was last night. Wondering what he'd done to make her turn on him so suddenly.

He sank back into the mattress. Still tired, he couldn't get her off his mind. A part of him felt embarrassment—Confessing to her through a damn game?

She must've thought he was messing around. But the way she kissed him after, it blew his mind. Entirely.

A knock interrupts his thoughts and he perks up, humming groggily—Marlon peaks in.

"You have Aasim waiting for you out there," He chuckles as Louis rolls his eyes and turns to hug the pillow beside him.

"In that case I think I'll sleep in another hour," He grumbles before falling back into the bed.

"And Clementine," Marlon puts an emphasis on her name, as a way to get him to move. Louis opens his eyes. Jaw tightening. In reply he drapes the blanket over his head.

"Get your ass up," Marlon takes a step in, his shoes creating creaks along the floor as he stops by the bed. Glaring down at the dread head who grumbled under his blankets.

"If you want dinner tonight you'll be ready in five minutes,"

Louis sighs. Turning to look at the halved blue eyes above him. "Have you made a move yet?" Marlon rests a hand along the nightstand beside the bed, cocking his head to the side.

"Don't think she's interested," Louis shakes his head, his dreads disheveling over his face as the blanket fell, Marlon scoffs.

"What? Thought you two were hittin it off?"

Louis had thought the same thing.

"Well, I can always talk to her for ya,"

The blonde rests a hand on his hip when Louis leans into the pillow again. There was an audible hitch in his breath.

"Don't you dare," Louis's voice was muffled as he hugs the thing to his face now. Wanting the boy to leave so he could ready himself in peace.

"Whatever man, just get down there before Aasim loses his shit."

...

"Next time it's Clementine and I," Aasim exclaims, glaring at Louis over his shoulder. "I'm tired of waiting for your ass,"

"Had a long night," Louis offers as a defense as the three trudged through the woodsy landscape. Clementine glances at the back of his head when he says this.

"Then maybe you shouldn't stay up all night playing that damn piano,"

Louis doesn't reply, he only shakes his head and turns to scan for walkers and any traps that may have went off. The sound of their footsteps against the earth filled the silence.

Once they made it to the traps Aasim had set for the rabbits and any other edible creature. Clementine absently began toward the walker traps. Unsheathing her blade as she went.

Until Louis stops her with a hard glance before she could trail any further. She stops as he towers over her before passing by.

"Go ahead and help Aasim, maybe it'll stop with his whining,"
