The ground was wet from rain, lampposts riddled the rundown community—it was like a hell compared to Richmond.

Everywhere she looked she saw security guards her age, or even AJ's. Which made her turn away in upset.

She follows Minerva and the woman from before. Who wasn't much older it turns out.

The two leading her to the makeshift infirmary begin talk about this 'Lily' who'd been out recruiting. Though the proper term would be kidnapping.

Clementine passed a field littered with walker heads and weaponry. She quickly assumed it was a battlefield of sorts. At the moment it was torn apart.

Everyone who passed seemed to wear the same face of utter depression. Making Clementine's eyes resort to her boots. Tired of eyeing the forced inhabitants.

"Alright," Minerva stops at a large tent. Lifting the wet thing, letting Clementine see the quite messy looking office. "We'll be waiting outside," Minerva adds with a nod. "Go in,"

...

"What's your name?" A man dressed in a quite shocking amount of makeshift armor sits at the table in the corner of his office. Beside that was a long bed and a drawer opened at its side.

Clementine looked at the man, lit up by the oil lamp. She'd concluded that this couldn't be the entire infirmary. This man couldn't be held responsible for all these people's lives.

He clears his throat, eyeing her over his spectacles.

"Clementine," she says finally, watching as he scribbles onto the clipboard.

He turns in the swiveling stool and stands, nearing her. Placing the pen behind his ear, in the waning light she saw how blonde his choppy locks were as he stepped into the oil lamp's radiance.

"I've been told you've been vomiting," the tall man closes in, making her step back. He gives her a smile, a handsome one. The first person here she'd seen smile at her that way. "I'm just checking your pulse,"

He gives her a rundown. Checking her breathing, heart. Checking all that he could in the limited supply and resources.

Clementine sat on the bed now. Letting herself laugh at the small talk the doctor offered while she waited for him to conclude her visit—his sharp nose wrinkles, turning in his seat to her once more. Thin mouth moving in question.

"Last time you menstruated?"

Clementine gave him a strange look, blinking before realizing he must've meant her period. She thought back. "Maybe a month ago,"

"Ah," says the grown man, his voice fading into a slight cough as he stands again. Pacing oddly around the office. "Are you active?"

"What does that mean?" Clementine tilts her head to the side, eyes narrow.
