Description: Finally on the road, The three come across an abandoned gas station. Resulting in quite the encounter.

"Sorry about your cards,"

Clementine murmurs, grabbing for a few wet ones on the ground below her.

It was morning now and the two were lucky to have woken up before AJ. It was peaceful to talk amongst themselves without the worry of him overhearing.

"It's alright," Louis began shuffling the grassy laden cards, thinking back to the previous night. He then slips his coat on. Hiding the cards in his chest pocket–feeling his cheeks redden at the fresh memory.

A haughty smirk ghosts over his lips when he trails his gaze her way again. Wondering if she thought about it too.

"You keep that one," he says, watching her grab the queen of hearts with his love note. Tucked along the root of the tree they slept at.

"Think of it as a birthday present, a late one." Louis stands now, adjusting his coat. Giving her a sneaky glance over as she circles him. She notices. And by the look on her face, she thought about it.

"Hm," Clementine stands, placing it in her back pocket. Eyeing him suggestively, he moves in for a kiss before a pair of footsteps stop the boy in his tracks.

"Louis, can we play before we start walking again?"

AJ questions, still tired. He rubs his left eye, leaves and twigs were stuck in his fro and at arms reach Louis plucks them out, smiling at the sleepy face.

"You sure you don't wanna sleep in a little more?" Louis offers, kneeling again. Letting the boy lazily stomp into his open arms, causing him to sit again.

"Mm..Nope," AJ yawns, stumbling into Louis's lap and inevitably falling asleep there.

Clementine smiles at this as she began rearranging her denim coat.

She ignores Louis's subtle wink with an eye roll, she circles the tree now. Crossing her arms, taking in the quite adorable two.

"He doesn't sleep on me like that," she remarks with a smile, knitting her brows. "At least not often,"

"Do I sense a bit of jealousy?" Louis cradles the kid in his arms, letting AJ's head rest just below his chin. Clementine sucks in a breath, turning for the wet pit of charred wood.

"What do you say to fish for breakfast?"

"Well," Louis sighs, smirking at the sleeping boy in his arms before scrunching his face. "I don't have much of a choice,"

After a few walker encounters and bickering between Louis and AJ—The three had finally hit the road.

Clementine follows as AJ trailed the faded white lines of the gravel, Louis and her on either side.

"Haven't been on the road in a while," Louis remarks, swinging Chairles as he walked and talked. "Can't even remember the last time.."

Clementine eyed him. "It's different, isn't it?"

"It is." Louis nods, smiling at her. "But at least we can play on the road now without worrying about a car running us over," he grins widely now and Clementine nods at his point.
