The group arrives at Campsite-G, but along the way Matt notices something.
"Hey guys do you see that thing over there?" They all looked towards the direction Matt's pointing towards, and the group catches a glimpse of the... whatever it was before it ran off.
"Was that a goat over there?" Taika says uncertainly.
"I think so, but lets worry about it another time; there's a fire pit for us!!!" Ian says, happiness lacing in his voice.
"Well, we won't know unless look." Matt replies matter-of-factly. The group walks on and sees the massive fire pit. Hannah notices that there is a massive amount of firewood provided for them. The group sets up the firewood ahead of time, so they wouldn't have to worry about it later. For the next couple of hours, the group hung out, played games, and talked about life and school. Then comes night time.
Everyone is ready to stay up all night and pull pranks on the other campsites. The group plans the pranks and sets the execution time for midnight, and by that point it's eleven (if your wondering how they can tell time, they have their phones). Thirty minutes later, the fire starts to change colors--much to their surprise of the group of friends.
"What's going on with the fire?" Matt asks. A sudden flash, and figures start to appear in the fire, flickering in and out.
"Hello children! We are the Greek gods. Matthew Donato, Zea Bonanno, Taika Akrib, Ian McClelland, Hannah Farman, and Daniel Carlson..... you are our children! Also, only one of you is a child of TWO gods, and that is Matthew." the god in the middle explains jovially.
"That's too much to take it!!!" Everyone exclaims
"Wait..... which gods am I a child of...?" Matt asks, worry in his tone.
"Well, let the other gods claim their children." The god says
"I am Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt. I claim Zea Bonanno as my daughter." Artemis says
"Well, that explains the silver hair and gray eyes," Zea says, taking the news well.
"Also daughter, you could be part of the Hunters of Artemis if you choose. It is my group of apprentices, and they are immortal unless they fall in battle." Artemis gives Zea a searching look and explains that the Hunters use thee, thou, et cetera.
"I'm Aphrodite, and my child is Hannah Farman." Aphrodite says, looking at the mentioned child.
"Aw, sweet!!" Hannah squeals, ecstatic.
"Hermes here, and my child is Ian McClelland." Hermes explains.
"Cool!" Ian yells. Taika rolls her eyes in the backround, since apparently Ian doesn't know that Hermes is messenger of the gods? Not to mention, he's the god thieves and commerce. Yawn, bo-ring!
"I am Hades. You can probably guess who my son is..." Hades says, certain carelessness to his tone
"Matt?" Everyone guesses, and Matt has no idea why they would.
"Hah, I wish. No my son is none other than Daniel Carlson," Hades says, deadpan.
"Fuck yeah!" Danny exclaims, punching the air.
"Finally it's my turn. I'm Posiedon, and my children are-" Poseidon starts.
"Woah, wait-did he just say children?!" This exclamation comes from the assembled group of children.
"--Taika Akrib and Matthew Donato."
~Cue jaws dropping
"Okay, what...? Oh and by the way, if you mess up my name someone's going to get hurt." Zea said crossing her arms. "And my last name isn't even my REAL last name!"
