Werewolves, Vampires and their pets

Round the merry go round

Tax ran up to a man, he was desperate to find his pets, "sir! Have you seen any humans wandering around without humans!" Asked Tax, the man frowned thoughtfully, "I did cook with one, real talent that fella had" answered the man, Tax was both curious and rushed, so he simply asked "who was it!", the man chuckled, "no idea, it had black hair and wore a collar" stated the man, Tax's eyes widened, "Rebel! That sounds like Rebel!" He exclaimed and without another word Tax ran off, the man chuckled to himself.

Quix traveled down a street, someone was grumbling and exclaiming nonsense, "um sir?" Asked Quix, the man looked at him suspiciously, "what happened?" Asked Quix looking at the wet and sticky ground, "some human pulled down the cloth on my table" grumbled the man, "what did the human look like?" Asked Quix, "not completely sure, it did have blonde hair I believe" stated the man, Quix's eyes widened, after exploring several streets this one had the best lead, "some no good kids ran off with it before I could do a thing" growled the man, Quix simply nodded and ran off in the direction the man had nodded towards, he stared at the massive theme park.

"Oh no" he gasped.

Tax crashed into Quix who stumbled slightly, "uh Tax, is there any way you could uh sniff em out" muttered Quix as he gazed at the theme park, it was a park based on ancient human culture and rides, with one theme being puppetry, with several robotic puppets bobbing along at the entrance, "ha no way, not in such crowded places" pointed out Tax, he hadn't thought to use his nose yet, but he wasn't lying either.

Quix examined the area and they dived in, dodging couples, families and running children, they talked to people, several people said they thought they had seen some blonde haired humans, they talked to sweet sellers and workers but couldn't seem to get a solid lead.

They examined the massive rollercoaster, they didn't like the thought of their sweet pets being trapped on that, they then went to the human sector, they talked to workers and barely learned anything, until they reached the 'puppet musical' ride, a bored young adult stood at the controls, Quix and Tax rushed over to him, "um Sir, have you seen three humans? Or one or two blonde ones? Or even a black haired one?" They asked, the man smiled at them, "yep, last I saw they were heading off with some kids to the human coaster" said the man, Quix and Tax sighed in relief.

They ran over to the human coaster, there was no trace of the pets, the worker answered their questions with a simple "they headed in that general direction" as they pointed to the ferris wheel, Quix and Tax ran in that direction, they made it to the ferris wheel and looked around, they stared at the big wheel in defeat, and out walked a group, Goldy was waving her stick happily and Rebel and Echo were jittery with nerves.

Tax and Quix let out shouts of relief, they rushed over, Tax swung Goldy into the air and hugged her close, Echo was hoisted up by Quix who spun in circles before pulling Rebel close to him, the teenagers watched in interest, people were looking and for once Tax didn't care, he looked over at a surprised Echo and patted the boys head, Echo giggled at the contact.

The humans were then put down, Quix leant on one knee and made straight eye contact with Rebel while he still had to slightly glance down for the other two, "naughty! No running off like that!" He scolded, Echo and Goldy were confused, they didn't think they did anything wrong, from what they knew, they were the ones who hadn't ran off, Rebel hung his head though, he grumbled in human and looked Quix straight in the eye, he glanced behind Quix and smiled, he rushed past and jumped into the chefs arms.

"I see you found em huh?" Stated the chef, Tax looked at the man, "so it was Rebel who you cooked with" he said, the man nodded, "he did such a good job" he complimented, Quix frowned in jealousy but then Rebel motioned for Quix to hold him, happily Quix did and he piggy backed the boy who held tight, the owners couldn't be mad.

They decided to head out of the theme park, they thanked the teenagers and chef and left, they went back to the park, a few families were there and Goldy frowned, she looked at the adults who smiled at the sight of her, "so you'se are her owners? Thank god she found you, she was at this park all by her lonesome" pointed out one mother, Quix and Tax paled at that, realising they must have just abandoned her here.

The children ran over to Goldy who his behind Quix, the human were very eager to play with her again, they also grabbed Echo who let them drag him away, the parents didn't know what to say, they were embarrassed of how their children had treated Goldy, Echo let the children drag him up to the slide, his leggings protecting him from getting pinched by the ride, Tax didn't understand why Goldy was acting so shy, she was usually so bold, Rebel grabbed Goldie's hand.

He yanked his lead from Quix's grip and ran with her, they tripped gently, were Rebel curled up his legs to protect Goldie, they rolled and he was on top of her, he grinned and tickled her, she giggled happily, squealing in joy, Rebel stood up and helped her up, she smiled happily, Echo ran over and received tickles from both Goldy and Rebel, their owners stood, watching, unsure whether to be proud and happy, or worried that Rebel would get to rough.

The children ran over and tried dragging them to play with them, Rebel dug his heels into the ground, Goldy didn't want to play, she didn't like their play, but they were stronger than her, Echo watched his sister curiously, he grabbed her hand and squeezed, she looked at him and sighed following behind, Rebel terrified his owners for a moment as he lunged at the child trying to drag him, but he was just going in to spin the child around playfully, he tussled the child's hair, this action surprised the onlookers, the pet had treated the child like a pet!

Rebel looked at the monkey bars and ran over to them, he leapt up and caught the bar, he pulled himself up, until he was sitting at the top, he had always wanted to do this, but he never could jump this high before, he watched as Echo and Goldy built a sandcastle while the children were trying to get the humans to look at theirs, Echo then walked Goldy to the slide, he had her sit on his lap so she felt safe, this was far more fun for her, but the children were growing jealous and annoyed by this, they wanted to play with the humans.

Goldy squealed as the children dragged her to a spinning thing, they had her sit in a seat and they pulled the circular control in the centre which moved the equipment when turned, Goldy was terribly frightened as it got faster and faster, the children giggled in good fun, Echo was watching unhappily, Tax walked over to stop the ride, he grabbed it causing it to halt, the children looked up at him curiously, he lifted his terrified and crying pet out and cradled her as he walked away with her, Echo grabbed Tax's hand, the parents were to embarrassed to say anything, they walked over to their children and dragged them off.

Rebel let out a frightened shout as the child who had tried playing with him, jumped up and grabbed his foot, he was flung off the monkey bars, Quix was a vampire, so he managed to save the human before he hit his head, Rebels legs wrapped Quix's waist and he held onto his owners shoulders, his heart was racing, they left the park without a word, the parents were apologizing like mad, but the owners didn't care, they couldn't blame children for being ignorant of their actions consequences.

They made sure to give the humans a delicious meal for dinner that night as they all sat at a table overlooking a beach, Goldy was happily showing Echo a creature she had seen jump from the water and Rebel was jabbering on to Quix about what he had down that day, Quix may not have understood a word of it, and it mose well have been a dog grumbling and whining in a talkative way to Quix's understanding of the human language but he listened all the same.
