It's been a month. The hospital kept Emma and the baby there for the month since he was so early. She was finally able to bring him home yesterday. Regina was going down to see her today. She knocked on the front door and waited.

"Hey" Emma says smiling brightly.

"Hi. Look at you. You look great for someone who just got out of hospital" Regina replied smiling.

"Thanks. I had a hot bath and ruby stayed over night to watch Alex over night for me while I got a decent sleep" Emma smiled.

"That's good. Is she here"

"Yeah. Come on in" Emma says as she walked towards the lounge.

Regina followed Emma into her house. They went to the lounge where ruby was sat holding Alex. Regina smiled as she waved at the woman.

"Hi. It's been awhile since I saw you" Ruby says standing over.

"Yeah and you" Regina replied as they hug avoiding Alex.

The richer woman took the small baby from Ruby's arms. She held him close to her and smiled. He has Emma's eyes. The blonde sat down next to her best friend as she watched her ex lover with her son.

"How you feeling about Regina" ruby whispers.

"I can't shrug my feelings for her. I know I love her and she told her mum for me. I don't get why I'm resisting my love" Emma replied making sure she isn't heard by Regina.

"She hurt you em. Your feeling this because your seeing her. When your not then you forget and realise what she did. You know you do this"

"Well how do I let her know I'm not getting back with her"

"Make her think your with someone else. Here kiss me and she will know to back off" ruby whispered.

"Your a good friend rubs" Emma smiled.

Ruby winked which made her laugh. They leaned in and kissed. Ruby deepened it as she kept Emma closer. Regina looked across and saw. She knew she had lost Emma. She just looked back at Alex and pretended like she didn't care. The girls pulled away and looked at each other.

"She saw. By the way. Your a really good kisser" ruby says smirking.

"Well I don't mean to blow my own horn but y'know" Emma replied making ruby laugh.

They looked at Regina who was still paying all her attention to Alex. She then looked at them and smiled softly.

"I love this little guy so much. He's so cute" Regina smiled.

"I can't imagine my life without him right now. It's time he got fed" Emma says as she held her arms out.

Regina placed the small baby in her ex girlfriends arms carefully before moving back a little. She sat down on the arm chair while Emma sat back in her seat.

"This is a nice house you got. What happened to the apartment you told me about" Regina asked looking around.

"Ow while pregnant I worked more shifts at granny's and ruby chipped in so I could get the house" Emma smiled.

"It's nice"

Emma lifted up her top revealing her left breast. She started feeding Alex not caring anyone is around.

"Your just gonna wipe it out and do it there" ruby asked a little shocked.

"I did it in front of random strangers every day in hospital. Why not in front of you guys" Emma chuckled.

"So how long you two been together" Regina asked not wanting the answer.

"Ow a few months now. She's amazing isn't she" ruby says before Emma could talk.

"Yeah. It's cute you guys are together" Regina lied.

The two woman she had ever loved in her life were together. Well she thought were together. Turns out ruby has a crush on Emma. No one knew and she planned on keeping it that way. Emma just continued breast feeding.

"Your a hungry little fella ain't you" Emma says to the tiny baby in her arms.

Regina watched the natural born mother with love in her eyes. Ruby saw. She saw how even knowing Emma is taken she still cared and loved her. She was going to stop at nothing to make sure Emma didn't end up back with Regina. She knew if she did she wasn't getting her back. It was time for ruby to step up and have Emma as her girlfriend not Regina.
