A Pretty Revenge. (A Fairytail Fanfic)

Chapter 9

~(Y/n)'s POV

Much time has passed since I discovered about Acgnologia and the more I try to know about him, the more often I get headaches.

Ah let's just burry him somewhere and get to where we are now, the wolf realm. Honestly when I heard that I'm gonna go to the wolf realm I first thought of Tarzan, I mean living with wolves in the forest, hunting for food, like cavemen.

But turns out that it isn't like I was thinking. It's just as developed as the dragon realm but the difference is that unlike the dragon who had their respective islands, wolves live on one land, in different packs and each one has their own territory. Overall, it's pretty cool.

" Y/n how can you do it? " whined Lena.

I also met Lena. She is the daughter of the King Lupin, so she's basically the princess and we are currently training with her being in her human form.

" Well it isn't that difficult..just relax and try again and if it is still not working then it is just that you are not concentrating. "

" You make it sound so simple but the wolf claw isn't that easy you know and I'll try it " she said looking at me.

Today we were learning the wolf claw attack. We had to concentrate our magic energy at our wrist and say ' wolf claw attack '. It isn't that much difficult, is it?

A while after , as soon as we I mean Lena finished learning the move, we got the rest of the day free so we went to the castle where we saw Rufus waiting for us eagerly. Rufus is the twin brother of Lena. Though they are twins, they are really different from each other whether it is their physical appearance or their attitude. I love them.

" Where have you two been ? You know that you were to come earlier today for the meeting." He said well yelled at us and if you're wondering what's all this mess he's making about a meeting, it's only lunch.

" You know being 5 minutes late for lunch is really not a big deal." Lena retorted.

That got him quiet. Lena, I owe you one.

We got to the dining room where all was already set up for lunch. The rest of the pack was there so we got to eat as soon as we sat.

I know that it's weird but even though it has been some time since I last heard or talk about Acgnologia, I can't get him out of my head so I've made up my mind to ask Lupin about him today.

After lunch, when everyone was leaving, I quietly got up and went behind Lupin, trying to catch up with him.

Smoothly I came besides him and greeted him. " Lupin I have a question "

" Sure dear what is it about." He replied.

" Who is Acgnologia and what do I have to do with him?"

He stopped and looked at me. This like the time with Grandeena.

He exhaled and told me " Well I cannot tell you what you have to do with him and I already know that you learned quite a few things about him so be more specific."

" Is he a demon or a dragon ?"

" He is both of them. Look when war was still raging, Acgnologia took pleasure in it and became a blood thirst animal but when the war stopped, he couldn't satisfy that thirst of him so he tried everything he could but with your mother occupying the throne, there was simply no way that there would be a war again. So the only option left for him was to go on the Earth realm, the only realm with which we weren't familiar at all. There he started to feed of the negative energy between the happening wars. Then, Zeref came in the picture. Zeref is a black wizard which means that there is no black magic with he doesn't know and the energy that was consumed by Acgnologia was starting to become dark energy. I don't know how or when they met but from what I've heard, Zeref wanted Acgnologia to become his allie to which the later did not agree and they fought. But in the end, neither of them had been able to defeat each other. Acgnologia then agreed seeing the potential of Zeref. " He sighed.

" But the real reason why he agreed was that Zeref had promised to give him more powers and also because he wouldn't be able to kill Zeref."

" Why is that so? " I asked curiosity already having taken control of me.

He looked at me, sighed and replied " You could say that he got the boon or curse of being immortal. "

" How?! "

" That's a long story. For now , I've got to go dear "

King Lupin had left but I stood frozen there still processing everything.

Acgnologia.

~Meanwhile at fairytail, Tenrou island for the s-class trials~

No one's POV

Exhausted , panting , the fairytail members were waiting to be healed in line.

Winning against Grimmoire Heart wasn't easy but who's ever been able to stand up to fairytail. There's basically no one capable of defeating that guild.

Smiling and taking loudly, the guild members were finally enjoying their time ignoring the upcoming threat which might be their death.

~With Zeref and Hades after the defeat of Grimmoire Heart. ~

" You ought to be punished for your deeds now Hades. " Zeref said a dark purple aura now surrounding his body.

" But sadly I ain't gonna dirty my hands with you but you'll earn the right death , the worst I could give you."

Just as he finished , a loud roar was heard and Hades started shaking.

It can't be......

It's dead.

No.

This can't be my end.

Zeref smirked. This simple action of his confirmed Hades' own doubt. He's going to die. As realisation hit him , he lifted his head to look at Zeref who was supposed to be there but only found a pile of ash.

He had left him , to die. At his hands. At the devil's hand.

One last cry left his throat. A last cry in defeat before his entire ship or what you could say was left out of it was engulfed in a pale blue and purple light ,  ending every remaining source of life in the ship.

Black with turquoise designs swirling around its body, the blood thirsty creature made his way to Tenrou island where it would have to end them.
