Note : In this fanfic, Bianca is not dead and Nico is more cheerful and he is the same age as you are, approximately 18.

(Y/n's POV)

This ain't fair. He does not even acknowledge my work. It was not hard so what, I had still put some efforts in it. I understand why Bianca told me that it was hard to please him. So acknowledgement was a far fetched dream.

But still it's a good thing cause I means that I need to work harder. To be honest, I've been lazy in the past few days. Gotta get to work.

I'm going to visit Grandeena and the others and maybe have a little brawl. I guess the fact that I am returning to the Earth realm in a few days time is distracting me. There's nothing better than a little speech of Grandeena to crash my little cloud.

I've become too confident and cocky, though that's not what I wanted.

I continued to walk down the long hall, lowered head, sighing to myself. I am tired but not only physically, it was more than it.

Bumping into someone brought me back to my senses. It was Nico. Thank Gods. (A/n : How ironic. )

" You should look where you're going sometimes, you might bump into someone. " He said, making as if nothing had happened seconds before.

Nico was one of my closest friends though sometimes it might be hard to believe. I'm friends with the ghost king and I'm not ironic or  sarcastic. It's a pride  to be friends with him. Ok I'm overdoing it but it's just that I never had that much luck with friends in the past. (A/n: Neither I have now. I suck)

He has messy black hair which makes him look that he just woke up though I think it compliments well his pale skin, think lips and deep eyes which most of the time stay as a frown. (A/n: I have no idea how to describe him. Sorry.  It was my friend's idea, the pjo expert and I'm going to keep it up ). And also he has an older sister, Bianca who I don't see around too much but I can say that she's pretty cool though the only times I've seen her were on missions. Oh well what do you even expect. The life of a demigod isn't one filled with rainbows and unicorns.

" Sorry " I replied and went on.

I wasn't the usual me, leaving without one cocky comeback but I wasn't feeling too well.

" Hey where are you going "

" To Grandeena you coming? "

" Yeah sure "

It was only a matter of seconds before we were teleported to the dragon realm. Nico had gone to the palace where most of the dragons spent their time whereas I was back to my island. I remember working really hard for this and it paid off. I have a place to go when I'm feeling down.

I went inside the little wooden house I had built, took  a book and went outside. I was heading to the big tree in the middle of my garden. I usually takes a long time to grow as big as it is now but that quite doesn't matter when you've mastered time magic so you could say I helped it a little on growing up.

As soon as I came under the cool and soothing shade of the tree, I immediately calmed down. Sometimes there's nothing better than home. I sat down, my back leaning on the rough tree. Taking off my hood and cape, I brought my knees to me and started reading, something I did my during my early training times.
