I came to Sasha's practice that morning, I really wanted to check her music out, well more importantly check her out. I said hi to her when I saw and she looked really jittery and hyper, I could've sworn she was on coke or something.
I saw Lux and Matty there and greeted them, Matty was one of my best friends and knew I was crushing hard.
"Hey z man." Matty said "How's that girl you've been so hung up on?" he asked with a grin.
"Ohh who do you like zachy?" Lux asked
"Both of you guys need to shut the fuck up." I said I really didn't want everyone knowing I liked a girl who barely took interest in me.
Matty started cracking up, he was high as can be as usual. You see Matty had a cocaine problem and no matter how much rehab Lux put him through he just couldn't stop, it made me really sad to see him like that to be honest. I tried to calm him down for a bit but he just pulled Lux towards him and started kissing her slowly. Lux, that poor girl, always gave in when it came to Matty. I bet they're gonna get married one day.
Sasha came up on stage and started singing her song called "Prozac Baby" her band was indie rock and had a cool upbeat sound to it. Her voice was great and the way she was singing the song made me feel something, I think it was sadness. She sang it so passionately I thought she was depressed, she couldn't be though, she always looked cool and somewhat happy.
