"Can I ask you something?"

"Shoot."

"Can you help me finish this book?" Matt said, holding up a thin book. I raised my eyebrows. He wiggled his up and down.

The room we got was the bigger room with a sofa and a bed. The furniture was dark and so was the colour scheme. Seeing Matt in this room gave him a sort of glow. It made my hearts thump.

"You need help reading?"

"No! I can read, it's just difficult for me. It's difficult because I feel like I'm reading and rereading the same paragraph over and over again. It's super frustrating because I know the words but of don't absorb the information." He said running his fingers through his hair. He had a white shirt on with his flannel pyjama pants. I had my laptop open on my lap as I was laying on the bed. I was still in my clothes from earlier.

"I'm sorry but I can't at the moment. I'm writing an email for this thing."

"You can do that tomorrow but I need to finish this." He said exasperated.

"Please Aviani?"

"Matthew, don't call me that. Okay, fine. I'll help you." I sighed. He grinned and jumped on the bed next to me. I closed my laptop and noticed him looking at me.

"Mm?"

"Nothing, are you uncomfortable? Did you bring pyjamas?" He asked me. My eyes widened. Damn it. I knew I had forgotten something.

"Oops. I forgot. It's okay though, I don't mind."

"I do. You look uncomfortable. I'll look for something in my bag." Matt said getting up swiftly and unzipping his suitcase with one motion.

He looked through his clothes and pulled out a jumper. It fit him perfectly but it would look huge on me.

"This is all I found." He said laughing.

"I'll accept it gratefully. Haha. Give me a sec." I said laughing. I grabbed the jumper and flounced into the bathroom.

I had never noticed how long her legs were. They carry her with much grace but she is much too clumsy. My jumper was huge on her. It went down to mid thigh and her hands were lost inside the sleeves. Hogwarts Quidditch is what it said. Her hair looked almost maroon in this lighting and it fell in a cascade of curls down her back. She pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose and pulled the jumper down. Her dimples showing faintly through the rosy blush that came up on her cheeks. Her toenails were painted an electric blue with gold sparkles. Even in the coldest winter, she was living proof that the summer would return.

She was the definition of beauty and she was too blind to see it herself.

She put one long tan leg in front of the other and sauntered to the bed.

She flopped right next to me and picked up the book.

"Letters by Donna Noble?"

"Yeah." I said. I fought hard to keep my heart from thumping so hard.

"Here." I whispered. I moved Aviani into my side and put my arm around her. She smiled a little and started to read.

She read and read and read until her voice was thick with sleep. We ended up finishing the book and looking at each other.

Her eyes scanned my face and I don't know what got into me, but I kissed her.

I don't regret it one bit.

She tasted like the sun and the moon and the stars. She tasted like new beginnings and old endings. She tasted like the happily ever after every one wants.

She felt fragile. A glass figure so delicate that grabbing it the wrong way would mean shattering it's beauty into a million pieces.

Her lips were soft against mine and they moved to the rhythm of our hearts. She brought her hands up to my face. I slid my hands down her back and set them on her waist.

I pulled her up and set her on my lap. She wrapped her long legs around my waist and didn't pull away from me.

She set her head on my shoulder with our lips still intact. I felt her smile into the kiss.

Then the door flew open.
