I read and reread the stationary. My dad was coming home. My father. The Doctor, Defender of the Earth, was coming home for Christmas to see his baby girl.

My father wrote in circular Gallifreyan. It was the most beautiful, complex script there ever was. My dad only wrote in Gallifreyan whenever he wrote to me.

He told me why he'd stopped writing and he told me about the cracks and he told me about the Master. He told me about how sorry he was about leaving me without memories of the wonders of the galaxy. He told me about fixed points in time and he told me how they couldn't be stopped and how they always had to happen.

My father wrote about an oncoming war. He wrote about how the timelords were looking for a way out of their time loop using a link to the present. He said that was one of the reasons the walls between the universes were thinning. He wrote about how the Gallifreyans would destroy the earth in the process of bringing themselves back.

My father wrote that my mother and him were going to drop by for Christmas dinner and that the gifts were for my friends and me. I looked up from the letter and sighed.

"It's just a letter from my parents. They said they were coming over for Christmas dinner and that the gifts were for all of us. I must've put it on the table before I went upstairs. Sorry if it startled you, Katelyn." I said apologetically. They all nodded and Alma smiled.

"I'm glad they're coming for Christmas dinner. It was really nice of them to help us rent out this beautiful house." Alma said hugging one of the throw pillows. Katelyn and Catherine nodded in agreement. I tried not to act too surprised. I raised my eyebrows and smiled. Matt did the same. Harry poked Catherine in the ribs.

"Are you all hungry? Because I am starving. Let's go to..." Harry started.

"In and Out Burger considering there is one five minutes away." Catherine finished laughing. I grinned.

"I'm down." I said. They cheered in agreement.

"We should all change and Avi should puts some leggings on or something." Catherine said standing up and reaching up and pushing my hair behind my ear. I rolled my eyes.

"NO PANTS ARE THE BEST PANTS!" I laughed. Alma giggled while Katelyn walked to her room laughing hard. Harry chuckled and Matt facepalmed. Catherine just smiled.

"I love how you're so you." Catherine said walking up the stairs. Harry followed behind her and I decided that they were adorable together.

Catherine is 3 inches shy of Harry's shoulder and his hands are extremely bigger than hers and ugh. It's the cutest thing ever.

It's not only that.

The way Harry looks at her is like the way you look at a stunningly beautiful view. He looks at her like that one glance could be his last. He smiles at her differently. He goes out of his way to compliment her. He calls her by her name and looks at her like she's the world and I'm probably right. She is his world.

I wonder if Matt ever looks at me like that.

When Matt and I made it to the room he closed the door behind me. He walked over and put his hand on the wall behind me and leaned forward, pinning me to the wall.

Matt looked down at me with his dark green and grey eyes and smirked.

"What was the letter really about?" He asked raising his eyebrows. I took in a a shaky breath. Holy shit. How could you not want to rip his clothes off.

"Exactly what I said. It's just a letter from my mum and dad." I whispered. He chuckled.

"Okay." He said putting his hand under my chin. He smiled dimply.

"I can't believe you kissed me, Jolly Green Giant." I said giggling slightly. He chuckled darkly.

"Me either, honestly. I'll do it again, short stack." He whispered in my ear. I shivered lightly.

"Oh yeah?" I challenged. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine with a bit more confidence than I expected. He pushed his long fingers under the jumper he gave me. I felt goosebumps raising up where his curious fingers wandered on my belly. I tangled my fingers into his hair and felt his hands slide down to my thighs. He grabbed them and pulled me up on his hips. He pushed me against the wall and I wrapped my legs around him.

His lips trailed down my neck, raising goosebumps with the slightest touch.

I bit my lip as I felt his breath on my ear.

"You're so out of my league." He hummed into my neck. A sound escaped from my lips. It was a really quiet moan so I didn't think he heard it.

"Did I just make you moan?" Matt whispered, giggling into my neck.

"Sex is the last thing on my mind. I'm fucking hungry man." I said unwrapping my legs from his back. He sighed.

"Well that was fun. We should do that again sometime." He said winking. I rolled my eyes and started to put on my tights.

...

I put on what I had worn earlier and decided to switch the boots for my black suede heels. We decided to go to Olive Garden instead of In and Out because it was too full. So everyone sits down at this circular table while the waitress takes our drink orders.

The waitress, Jeannette, walks away and all of us are left talking about how cold it is. Matt can't seem to wipe his smile off his smug face.

He's sitting right next to me and giggling whenever he looks at me.

I shook my head to myself.

What an idiot.
