But what Count Olaf didn't know, is that Lil Wayne was hiding, listening the whole time.

Wayne got back on his mic. "He's making a deal with the rich girl."

"Hailey?" Terra asked.

"Yeah. If she's in on it, things will be even harder on ya boy."

"Alright, keep me updated."

"I got you." With that, Dwayne turned off the mic and walked back to his staff room. But on the way, he was stopped by Mr. House, the robotics teacher.

"You look... Kinda familiar. What's your name again?"

"Uh --- Michael. Michael Carter. I do the new chorus elective here, ya know?"

"Yeah. I uh, don't know where I've seen you before. I guess I haven't. Nice to meet you."

"You too."

Phew! That was close.

The next morning, Ven woke up troubled. What if Count Olaf found him? What if he kidnapped him and took him away?

No, he couldn't think about that now. "Think positive, Ven." He thought. He got up and dressed, then left with Duncan to breakfast.

During breakfast, an announcement was held by one of the new teachers in the school.

"My name is Mr. Carter, and I am holding the new chorus elective. If you like singing or even rapping, you can take this and have some fun."

"Terra works with rappers." Ven told his friends. "I might as well give it a try."

A little while later, Terra called Aqua to tell her the news.

"Hold on. Ven is in danger?" She asked, worried.

"Possibly. But I have Lil Wayne there in disguise, and he's gonna help Ven. It'll be fine, Aqua."

"Lil Wayne? Are you sure?"

"Positive. There are smart people there, and not so smart people. Count Olaf is one of the not so smart people."

"I hope so."

Terra hung up and drove over to DJ Khaled's, to discuss Dwayne's plan.

What was his plan? Well, when it came time for Ven to go to chorus, since he signed up, it just so happened that the only people there were Ven and the Quagmires. Everyone else had said that it was stupid, or were just nervous to sing.

"Whoa. This is it?" Wayne asked, surprised.

"I guess so."

"Wow."

He looked around, making sure no one else was around or listening. Then he leaned in.

"I know this may seem a little weird to you, but I'm not really 'Mr. Carter'."

He took off his "I ❤️ rap" hat and revealed his dreadlocks.

"I am Dwayne Michael Carter, or as you might know me, Lil Wayne."

The boy's eyes widened. "Lil Wayne?"

"Yeah. Terra sent me in to help you. See, Count Olaf is planning to have you lead him to Terra, so he can steal his money. And I'm trying to stop that."

"Whoa, really?" Ven asked, shocked.

Dwayne nodded, showing off his ear mic. "You wanna talk to Terra? Put it on."

So Ven put it on, and because Dwayne had already turned it on...

"Hey, Ven. How are you?"

"Terra! I'm doing great right now. But, why does Count Olaf want your money?"

"Because I'm an orphan. That's why he wants your friends' money too. I researched it. He killed their parents in a fire. Must have killed mine too. But we have to focus on helping you out here."

"Right. Oh, and how's Georgie?"

"Doing fine. He misses you, but he's getting along fine with Bill."

"Good. And what's the plan for Count Olaf?"

"We wait for his move. Don't do anything unless Wayne says so."

"Alright."

"I gotta go. See ya, Ven."

"Bye."

Ventus handed the mic back to Lil Wayne, and thanked him for letting him talk to Terra.

"No problem, lil bruh. If you need anything, tell me."

"I'll be fine. As long as Georgie's safe, and Count Olaf isn't chasing me, I'm good."

"You really care about him, don't you?" Isadora said, smiling.

"We helped each other overcome Pennywise. That's what drew us together in friendship."

"Always good to have a person helping ya out. Alright, let's get into this class."

So Wayne helped them sing What About Me (featuring Post Malone) and everyone had fun. Unbeknownst to them, one of Count Olaf's assistants were listening to part of their conversation.

"Who's Georgie?" Olaf asked.

"One of the kid's friends from his home."

"Well, then. I guess we'll have to pay him a little visit."

So Ven went through the day happy, not knowing the uproar Count Olaf would cause in the next few days.
